My Mother

It's just gone a year since I lost my mum. Stay strong because if you're anything like me you'll be numb for 6 months and think "this ain't so bad really", then WHAM. That'll last a month or two and then... well then it honestly does start to get slowly better.

Rams Activate Okoronkwo to Active Roster

What I like most about that video, like you said about off ball stuff, is how he does his assignment. He keeps contain even if the play is breaking down in other ways, he stays in his zone, and he stays on his man if he has coverage responsibility. Looks like he is a smart player which is great for a 3-4 OLB even if he is expected to be a pass rusher mostly. Seems to get swallowed up too easily at times but definitely have high hopes for him long term.

Yeah and I think where the Rams got him he could end up being a steal. Because his rush is very raw so with better technique who knows what he can be down the road. But for now he is a good all around LB that will help us provided they get him up to speed in the scheme.

I just wonder what that part of the plan is. Simplified reads for him and Fowler maybe? Either way the goal needs to be getting both those guys solid in the calls so they can play fast.

How I Felt After Every Winnable Game Fisher And Spags Lost

When the Rams hired Steve Spagnuolo, I was excited, but concerned that a first time Head Coach hired two first time Coordinators in Pat Shurmur and Ken Flajole and I realize Spags was handling the defense and he had told Shurmur if he ever got a HC Gig, he'd be his OC, but it's tough enough for a first time Head Coach and to have coordinators with less experience makes it harder.

When the Rams hired Fisher, I felt, well, 9-7 isn't bad and the Rams never got to 9-7. This coaching staff is different and although there are some issues I expect they will be ready come post season, but the Secondary is concerning all of us are hoping when Talib comes back everything will be okay again...Hard to believe that Spags is now unemployed and Fisher, well, I don't think he'll ever coach again unless it's at the collegiate level or he takes a Coordinator job with an NFL team.
