Last spot is Dedich vs McMahon, Bowles, Leveston, Dooley. Dedich likely to win the 10th spot though I must admit I have not spent any real effort to look at their performances in the first preseason game.
Yep, I often do the same. Recently though have been burned by being cautious. Sold a few pre earnings after a nice gain and the stock exploded after earnings or continues to explode after selling post earnings... like Palantir and another was ALAB. Bought at 96, sold 140 pre earnings... now in the 190's days after selling. Ugh...
I don't think Lampkin's size, or lack of, is a problem in the middle of the line. I can see it if he was a tackle. But a guy that heavy low to the ground should have plenty of leverage in his run blocking. Zuerline thinks he'd be a first rounder if he was a few inches taller. That is saying something.
Yep, low man wins. I remember seeing an interview with Jason Kelcie. He talked about the guys who gave him the toughest time. He gave kudos to AD, but he actually mentioned Poona Ford as the guy who gave him the most trouble and it was because he couldn't get lower than him. Poona always had the leverage. This same advantage will certainly help Lampkin.
If and when this group finds themselves in a deep playoff game, I expect the secondary will come up short. Only way that doesn't happen is if the defensive front dominates.
Which is possible. But I don't think we will have enough defense to cover an offense that doesn't have Stafford.
And I don't think Stafford will survive without Jackson.
And I don't think Jackson is gonna be able to log a full season, also may not even be up for the playoff run.
So for now and until we get some good injury news, I'd put the Rams in the contenders, but more as a darkhorse due to QB and LT concerns.
Confirmed by multiple scientist that it's a comet that's 1/30th the size it was originally thought it was. Not to mention that it will get closest to Mars and not Earth.
Pretty dumb in this day and age. I believe him that he wasnt gambling but he's a moron for thinking it was ok to put sports gambling or whatever as the subject on venmo
$10 between friends? Gimme a break
He's not supposed to do anything like that. NCAA rules are explicitly clear on that. It doesn't matter if it's $10, $100, $1,000, or even $1; he's not allowed to gamble any money on his own sport, which the Venmo clearly stated he did - and if you include the joke of "sports gambling" - even if it's only a joke - it makes him look extremely stupid.
Do you want someone that stupid at quarterback for the Rams? Do you think McVay would have patience for someone that stupid as his signal-caller of the future when he had none for Goff?
If you're a Rams player and you get called on your bullshit in film session you nod your fucking head and move on to improve. In Miami you piss and moan and blame someone else.
I wonder how true this is. If I had to guess, I’d say you’re right. The players often talk about how much this organization feels like family - that they feel honestly cared for. I have to guess that a fair amount of discipline is involved in this family. And I’m guessing that is missing in Miami.
That is always a great night out. Make a plan B just in case, it's been cancelled at short notice a couple of times in the last few years because of storms. And book a taxi home in advance!
Ease up on yourself dude!! Just glad & appreciate your post. Going to check it out, but what’s your feedback from it?
I see from some about the unsportsmanlike conduct .The way it’s interpreted could be worse than the rule.
IMO - I’d rather The Refs call it TIGHT NOW instead of during the season,& especially in the playoffs when it counts even more.
Last season I saw how they PI is in place which has evolved over the years. We can go back to 2018 play no call. The replay which was cray cray. Now(last at) they let the hand battle of running with a WR.You still have holding which is a fine line & then PI.Which means they allow a little contact & allows the DB to go after the football as well.
I am surprised at the low grade for Acuri. I thought he had a good game at LT.
Wedig is destined for the PS. The OL is too deep. He will be fine there.
Lampkin? Nobody wanted to draft him, but he surely opened some eyes vs the cowboys. Again, this roster might be too deep for him to make the 53. The next two games will determine if other teams want to change their minds on him.
Big Whit is awesome. He brings things to life & gives good insight.
Not a Fan of this gal,but Big Whit gets into it.He takes over the show for the most part besides the Zip Recruiter commercials.
He tries to clear the air on Mattew Stafford. He knows this team pretty well.He really talks about The Rams health early.
2022 was bad & 2023 was bad as well.IMO Sean Mcvay last season sort did it to himself by not having the depth he needed early. In a way Big Whit says Shelton back & Steve at right guard again. It makes for building chemistry across the board ??
I hope he doesn't because our new young LB core is extremely intriguing potential and talent wise. I think overall its going to benefit our young defense to have that position step up.
Watched Colin Cowherd with Nick Wright. They both are not high on Purdy. Saying the same thing I've been saying. He was great in that QB friendly system surrounded with all pro talent. Take some of that away and we saw the results. Wright thinks the #14 ranking will be lower after this season after his limitation are exposed with marginal talent around him. But, like Aiyuk he got paid. So its all good.
Two things about purdy.
1) he’s a smart, a great pre-snap reader, busts his ass, and maintains a calm demeanor. There’s a reason why a 7th round pick just got paid.
2) he’s got a 7th round arm. The Rams are counting on jimmyg-string to back up Stafford? G-string struggles on the the 12-15 yard out. Most of his picks are on that throw. Go back and review his INTS, I dare you. THAT IS A BREAD AND BUTTER THROW. Your team won’t go anywhere if your QB can’t make that throw.
I saw krapernick in person at candlestick—twice! He couldn’t make that throw in a tight window to save his life. purdy struggles with routine, big arm, throws.
Bottom line? purdy won’t take the 9ers anywhere they aren’t set up to take HIM. As with his choke artist HC, pressure/$$ on line games, the 9er QB and HC is a match made in heaven…
For Rams fans.
Can finally cross that movie off my movies bucket list
7.5 / 10
I've known for years , that Spencer's Mountain is what The Waltons were based off of
and years ago , probably more then 30 , I thought cool , I need to check out the movie , great cast , Henry Fonda , Maureen O'Hara , how can you go wrong
but then I learned they changed the location from Virginia to Wyoming , and the time line from the depression era 1930's , to the 1960's , so right then , all of a sudden I lost some interest , I was like if it doesn't take place during the depression , what was the point
although I was always interested still in watching it , always heard good things , but it was just one of those movies , I just kept kicking it on down the road
till last night , finally got around to watching , any yea , it was a pretty decent movie , not really sure the point of the changes though , other then a couple exterior shots , it probably could have passed off as Virginia , or a couple shots of a couple automobiles , it could have easily passed as the 1930's
overall a enjoyable movie , I'm glad that after 30 years or so , I finally got around to watching it...........lol
