GAME DAY TNF: Lions at Packers

It's funny people comparing a 7 year pro who's been with the same QB for 6 of those years, all but like 5 games really, to a guy in his 4th year missed time in one of them. I'm wanting more from Van just like everybody else, mainly consistency for me, but there are some comparisons that just make absolute zero sense. Especially since we cut Josh.

Might I suggest the following up to you of course but they seem to work for some.

The Horrible Coaching of Sean McVay | Rams @ Bengals (2023)

It’s my understanding Staff was forced to change the plays away from runs due what the D was presenting. LaFleur said the Bengals weren’t going to let us run.

Having said that, is anyone else taken aback with all the sudden venom toward McVay? It’s everywhere; seems like a brand new thing he’ll have to navigate, and I’m not sure it will end great for us.
I get what you’re saying, and don’t disagree, however, it seems to me that McVay could’ve modified his personnel packages to help his line with some of this and just didn’t for whatever reason.

Is McVay our McCarthy?

Yes, and he's hurt all the time. Exactly my point.
"Ekeler missed only nine games in his first six seasons and had not missed a game since 2021 when an ankle injury sidelined him for a game."

If he was bigger he wouldn't hurt his ankle? It seems a lot of players are out because of ankles and hamstrings.

We lost 2 games by a combined 10 points.....

Honestly bro just ban me. This place has become a joke.

Generalized posts calling out half the board insulting them but as long as you don’t @ anyone it’s fine. When did it become alright to say “anyone with this opinion is (insert insult here)”? But if I respond I’m the asshole?

That’s fine, I’m out.
so it be written, so it be done

What Captivates You?

this

along with watching endless wood working videos
I like those, but the house restoration videos are my favorite. I'm currently watching a single guy restoring a French chateau that was gutted by fire in the early 80's. I was appalled in the first video by what he faced alone.
* He has removed most of the vegetation within the building, some of which were mature trees.
* He removed all of the crumbled flooring, masonry, ash, etc from the basement/bottom floors.
* He has installed steel beams in three of the four floors he has installed and is working on shoring up the roof brickwork/masonry

He had a few help him in places of the job, but he's done most of it himself.

GAME DAY MNF: Rams at Bengals 8:15pm ET

As always... my hope for us is that we have an offensive staff that can pull McVay back from these type of games...games where his play calling and schemes seem to be away from things like running the ball and using some formation variety.... this game shows we aren't there yet. This team is far better than most thought. But our head coach has to put us in positions to win and yesterday he didn't do that.

McVay gives up more points before the half, AGAIN

Loss on McVay. It seems running the ball is beneath him.
Which is particularly strange because McVay's two top rivals in Seattle and San Fran have been beating his ass by running big running backs down our throat and wearing down our defense.

Amazing how I've been seeing it for years and screaming that we should get a big brute running back.

Meanwhile, McVay had been spending his money on Allen Robinsons and little scat backs.
