Kenny Willekes Shines in Senior Bowl, Records Two Sacks

Prescott seems fed up with Cowboys over contract talks

I don't say this often, as I believe top players are very well paid.
That said, the Cowboys have completely taken advantage of Dak.
He has been paid about 4M total for 4 years. If he had been seriously injured this season, he would have lost massively.
Now that Dak is in the driver's seat, I can't see how he would not go after every $ he can get from the Cowboys.
Dak has made over 50 million in endorsements (despite not having ever even been to an NFCCG), so I dont buy the "Cowboys have taken advantage of him" stuff. He has taken advantage of being a Cowboy and had made well over what a ton of surgeons make. The guy is Alex Smith 2.0, but unfortunately Jerry is a retard, so I'm sure we'll pay him close to 40, AND we will never be able to surround him with enough talent (that he needs) to compete for a SB. I agree with a previous poster; the QB salary should not count against the cap.

Also, Sam Bradford should be in federal prison for the ampunt of money he's stolen from teams.

Things we can ASSume this offseason

So 28mill plus an assumed restructuring Goff deal, to add one good UFA.
Since the post you replied too......a new recalculated of the Rams cap has been completed. That past Rams $19.5 million of available cap was moved downward to being below Team Cap Space: $14,716,619.

On the alleged pending Goff restructure ??? If Goff wants to remain unmolested & healthy when a 5-step drop back pass play has been called....Goff might want to think hard on considering helping the Rams work to sign trending upwards solid veteran OL'er who excels @ pass protection, able to easily mix in with the already large young OL cadre. In addition, strongly abstain from signing a degrading pass his prime trending downward veteran.

10 things with Joe Noteboom

You raise an excellent point about Blythe’s multiple health issues during the season, Bonifay.

A bad ankle and TWO bad shoulders that required post season surgery? Wow! One has to wonder what the experienced and 100% healthy Blythe could accomplish at C this season. Plus, it would be nice to be able to use our top picks for that D, instead of C, huh?

Hell, maybe extending Blythe is the smart strategy for this cap strapped Ram team.

Agreed, and I can't help but wonder if Blythe's questionable play affected Hav, just like (imo), losing Saffold affected AW's play.

Olinemen don't play in a vacuum.

Frank Gore: I can still play, have to see who wants me

No.

Hobb Goblin asked if it was wrong to want to take every other RB on the list before Gore. Les said yes, it was wrong, except for Bettis.

I'm sure Les meant what you're saying (I hope anyway) but we've all had crazy ass opinions before. This is like a "yes we have no bananas" type sentence structure scenario.

I meant the opposite of what I said LOL.

I'd take all of the RB's on the list except Bettis ahead of Gore.

Senior Bowl invititations

Yeah this dude is definitely underrated. Have him way down a list of guys I haven't looked at too much. In fact there's a ton of wideouts I haven't fully watched tbh and somehow I didn't watch that Outback Bowl he got MVP honors in.

Only prob I see with him is he's a slot guy. Which means he'll probably remain down the board a bit not to mention it's not as much a need for us as a guy who can line up outside the hashes. But I think you're right re: him being a Kupp type who will outperform his draft spot.

Like Robert Woods, Johnson can line up both in the slot and outside. Minnesota tended to use him in the slot more this year because they had Rashod Bateman outside, so it would maximize their ability to create mismatches.

Why it's called the 'Super Bowl'

My favorite memory of the Superball was bouncing one on the walk to school one morning and it hit the side of the sidewalk and bounded into the street, ending up about a block away in the gutter. When I went to retrieve it, I found it resting directly next to a folded dollar bill. Superball indeed!

Unfortunately, this was more of a one-time enchantment on the ball, rather than a special talent, as it did not find money an any of my 10,000 follow up attempts.

Chris Jones Flat-Out Says Chiefs Want to Make Jimmy Garoppolo Beat Them

Chris Jones Flat-Out Says Chiefs Want to Make Jimmy Garoppolo Beat Them

On Sunday, the Kansas City Chiefs and the San Francisco 49ers will face off in the culmination of the 2019-2020 NFL season: Super Bowl LIV. When asked what the key to winning the Super Bowl is, Chiefs star DE Chris Jones had a very straight-forward take.

Jones, a Pro Bowl awardee, said that the Chiefs' game-plan is to prevent the 49ers from running the ball as effectively as they have previously against other teams, and to force QB Jimmy Garoppolo to beat them. The 49ers ran all over the Green Bay Packers in the NFC Championship, and the Chiefs would rather avoid that same fate.

The 49ers were incredibly effective against Green Bay. Running back Raheem Mostert ran the ball 29 times against the Packers for 220 yards and four touchdowns.

While the 49ers are, in fact, a dominant running team, Garoppolo's talent should not be understated. The 49ers starter has had a great season, throwing for 27 touchdowns and winning the NFL's Comeback Player of the Year award.

We cannot wait to see how this strategy works out for the Chiefs, and if Jones' words come back to haunt KC.
