he was also playing with some young DBs which put him in some tough spots last year and he still balled out.

With a healthy Talib and Peters and JJIII, Weddle is in a MUCH better secondary setup. Just like his transition from SD to Baltimore.

I think Mike's ego was his downfall. He knew he was good and by God everyone else needed to acknowledge it. Still loved the dude though, and am thankful for the time he was with us.

I notice the kicker salaries when I visit the cap sites. You want the best you have to pay them. Look at all the teams last year searching for FG kickers. Missing easy FGs really hurts the momentum of the team and making a long one raises the momentum. JZ should get a new deal soon as this is his last year on his current contract. His injuries have to be a bit concerning. Rams should have a feel for his current health.

Honestly, I’ve been surprised by how FEW times there have been indirect stabs at Fish over the last couple years.

Snead/Fisher led to mediocrity and dysfunction, while Snead/McVay has been a dream team.

Given that, it’s impressive how they’ve been able to maintain respectfulness toward the previous regime. The players, too, have been careful and diplomatic when discussing the Fish years.
