Weddle signed in about 15 minutes to be an upgrade over the departing Joyner.

Anybody else seeing a pattern emerging?

Quick decisions with an eye to strengthening positions with bonus points for salary cap savings.

The Weddle signing follows a pattern, i.e. signing a vet FA with lots of success for each position group. Whit, Sully OL, Talib, Peters, secondary, Anderson RB, Cooks, Woods, WR. Suh DL.

Makes me think they go get a vet LB and TE, and maybe a QB to back up GOFF. That would follow the pattern, and a damned smart one at that.
