Not sure what you're searching for here? Rams looked at Harvey first saw he was good but he can't block for shit. So they moved on from him and liked Hunter. Does it matter that they looked at another back first? IMO this is a good thing they didn't draft a guy over Hunter because of a flaw and found somebody better for them.

Not searching for anything.

I like knowing who they were interested in is all. It’s insight into what they were thinking,

I mean Harvey likely wasn't the first RB they looked at either and Hunter might not have been the 2nd they looked at. Guess I just don't see anything interesting in it because they have scout looking at a lot of prospects and we don't know who all they looked at or liked part of their game but not all of it. Or who they liked all of their game and who got chosen in the end for what reason.

I haven’t watched him so I don’t have much to go on, there seem to be conflicting opinions on him. I’ve read that he lacks burst but he ran a 4.4, I’ve also seen that he’s stiff in the hips and not elusive but he was among the leaders in missed tackles forced.
I’m interested to see him in camp.

This guy said that they liked him. So it’s not likely the first guy they looked at. He was one they liked.

The lacks burst is bs. I think they might be confusing his patience
with burst. If he finds a hole to second level dude explodes.
The missed tackles is more about would be tacklers bouncing off of him
He has very good contact balance. Dudes got vision and patience.

Saw him press the line of scrimmage on one play and
sucked in DT and LB to wrong gap and then threw one of the sweetest jump cuts
to the left where there was a 2 gap hole and he just exploded to second level.

The RB class was so deep this year that Jarquez may have been a second round
pick in a normal draft. Same with TE class, very deep class.
