Everyone keeps bringing up the dunking a ball in boots. I keep thinking about how a guy can jump out of a swimming pool. That would be more than waist deep water if he’s 5’9”. Think about it. That seems insane.
Maybe he has skinny legs and small feet. Limits drag in the water.

Btw jumped out of a kiddy pool the other day, shit was at least a foot deep. I could've been seriously injured.

Are we to assume that Corum is #3 @ camp? . Seems a bit premature to me.
Yeah he should have an advantage over the rook in knowing the offense and protections. But he'd better show well in preseason if he wants to challenge Kyren and stay ahead of the kid.

Competition is good -Jake-boom did a PodCast about the Rams RB’s.

I’ll stick to what I believe. The Rams have done the right thing. This draft & of season was just what they needed..

Mcvay said it best in his thoughts. The Rams didn’t want to miss out on Jarquez Hunter.

There’s not much to not like about him.His story is Awesome as well. There’s no limits on his upside.I could say I see a little Toney Dorsett in him if you want a RB from the past.

Kyren Williams is in a contract year,so no matter what The Rams should be in an excellent spot.

Jarquez Hunter has more upside than any other RB on the roster
I pray he starts taking over as no.1 by midseason.

5'9" 204lb wrecking ball with a 4.4 speed. Rare combination of power and top end speed.
Excellent vision and instincts
Possesses a second gear that allows him to explode through holes and hit the second level in a hurry
Displays ankle-breaking lateral agility
Runs with outstanding pad level and contact balance. Would be defenders bounce off of him
Scheme-versatile back with experience in multiple systems
Home run threat every time he touches the rock, boasting a career 6.0+ YPC average
Soft mitts out of the backfield, offering upside as a check-down option and screen game weapon
High football IQ with the ability to process defensive fronts and make pre-snap adjustments

There are aspects he needs to improve , that's why I say by midseason.
But there is no other RB on our roster that can check all the boxes he does.
Potential is just potential until proven , but JMHO he has upside that could
change the way teams play us.

Please Be one of those Snead Diamonds.

A top 10 NFL RB is not easy to replace. Especially if said RB fixes their fumbling issue. But I would sure give Corum and Hunter some decent reps early in the season to see what they got as KWill is in a make it/break it contract year.

Was talking more in upside than anything. Quez does have more upside than Kyren,
But the word upside is speaking on potential. and like I said potential is just potential until
it shows on field. If Quez reaches that potential, i see it as a best case scenario for team.

And yes the 6 fumbles Kyren had last year with one of those in the playoffs have got to stop
As good as Kyren is his fumble leash will be much shorter this year.
Especially with Blake having a year under his belt.

I would just rather have a back who is capable of having more than 2 rushes of more than 20 yds or more in a season (tied 45th in league)
regardless of overall yardage gained, that is not a top 10 back in my eyes. JMO
He is a top 10 goaline back, no doubt.

The Rams made the right move to draft Hunter. It really doesn’t hold The Rams hostage, plus having competition is a good thing, unless you have Kyren on your Fantasy Team again. He might not get as many carries.
The fumbling shouldn’t be a big deal, and it’s a bonus to have a RB who can take it to the House from time to time.
I do think it’s wrong to take any compliments Williams has earned away. His numbers have been extremely impressive. His confidence should be respected.

@den-the-coach

Just thought you would enjoy the vision and patience displayed from this youngster

The way Jarquez manipulates Defenders on this play is so sweet

he takes a quick jab step right to make DL, LB commit to the gap over
from the one he was wanting to hit and then uses a quick jump cut left
and is gone for 6.

Excellent vision and patience. I hope he is quick to learn and corrects his pass protection.
Put him into a three headed monster and we will be running whenever and wherever we want

he is Squatting 635lbs + The training staff at Auburn forbid him from trying for more.
Guess they were afraid the bar might break.

I wouldn't assume that. Hunter has tons to learn and bad habits to fix
( I read his pass pro. needs work .They were saying it was his base in foot work)
That may be a quick fix, but learning the system and learning the ins and outs
of his pass pro takes time.
The good news is he is very bright and fully committed to his craft.
One of the keys to McSneads draft success is they value players with excellent
work ethics and players who love and are all in when it comes to football.
You can have talent, but if you don't fit this criteria, you won't be a Ram.
Man I love the way Snead and McVay operate.

I was listening to the Sharp’s football Podcast on fantasy RBs.
They spoke extensively about RJ Garvey and his possible value as a fantasy RB. Then they got around to trying to determine if he’d play or not. That’s when the one guy said Harvey had the lowest rating for all RBs when it comes to pass protection. Then he said The Rams were very high on Harvey, but the pass protection stuff caused them to lose interest.

So, was Hunter really their guy all along?

Sure sounds like it wasn't Harvey since he couldn't block.
