Fuck the celtics

I always go by how many titles I've been watching/cheering for my teams live as they happen vs past titles before my time.

When whiner fans and Keltic fans try to call out their numbers, I reply with "how many were you around for?" Fans don't just inherit titles if they weren't around to see them unfold.

I saw the Lakers win 11 titles since 1979-80. During that time the Keltics have 5. They won't be coming any closer to concern me.

Also included on my watch are 2 Ram trophies and 3 Dodger titles.

What is Sean McVay’s Earl Weaver-style Formula for Winning?

I’ll suggest this:

OU + BPP = WINS
Similar to, if not the same as TGSOT. Unpredictability, build a lead, the defense allows the mistakes to come to them. Smith's version of cover 2 was the same. They didn't pressure Favre into 5 picks, they let him gamble and capitalized. It's a sound plan, as much as some Ram fans hated the approach.

Roku NFL draft documentary

Well, I learned one thing watching that documentary. Drew Rosenhaus is an embarrassing douche. Wow, what a tool, and not in the way I expected. Every scene with him had me cringing. Yelling out the team to the families, and basically taking that moment from the players.

Thanks for the heads up about this show, I wasn't aware it existed.

OTA’s / News and Notes

If Verse turns out to be an all pro the Jets, Raiders and Colts are gonna regret not making a trade. If the Rams did give up 19, 52 and 99, we don't know what they woulda done with 83. Would they forego defense altogether on day 1 and 2 and pick Corum? Or would they have felt a need to grab a defensive player at 83?

I do believe Verse will be an impact player year one. Don't know about Fiske early on. But I think over the next 4 years we will have a solid DT. He's a guy McVay really wanted. Enough to give up a future 2nd for. The work ethic and high motor is impressive.

I think most of us are pretty happy the way things turned out with the first two days. An impact edge rusher. An athletic defensive tackle with a high intensity motor who never gives up on a play. A stout running back with good vision, quickness and power to get the tough yards. And a ball hawking safety who is always around the ball.
