A brief comparison of the turnarounds on O and on D, plus a question...

AD is having his best season in the area of sacks & pass rush pressures & hits on the QB playing next to Suh @ NT. The last two seasons under Wade's 34 D .... AD has gone off in the above stats. Nothing could be more exciting this season on defense than watching this once in a lifetime player help my Rams win.

I also think when I review back @ AD's 2014/ 2015/ 2016 when he was playing next to NT Micheal Brockers inside....AD's tackles of ball carriers was higher & his perfromance had a bigger impact in stopping the run. I believe Brockers/Donald duo inside works better to stop our opponents run game.

In the playoffs the Rams stand a very good chance to play running teams like Dallas/Ezekiel Elliott & Dak Prescott or Seattle/ Wilson, Christ Carson, Mike Davis & Rashaad Penny in LA on the dirt field ......I would hope to see Brockers lining up next to AD more often. I would also hope to see Barron on the sideline in most running situations. I don't care who plays the weakside ILB post ... Ramik Wilson, Bryce Hager or Micah Kiser but get Barron off the field on early downs.

Frontrunners to Win NFL Coach of the Year

Exactly. How is it that Payton is mentioned as top tier, yet McVay is almost an afterthought?

You know what's cool though? If you were to have a head coach draft McVay would go 1 overall, every time, no matter how you scramble up the teams. Belichick is the greatest ever, but he's in that twilight of his career. McVay is the guy every team wants and is seeking right now.

Rams Defensive Leader?

I think Donald will be next year.
Donald is a leader and has leadership attributes... but you cant miss camp and really step into that role. I believe next year he will embrace that role much more.

I think Brockers is our Ds leader and a good one, but probably not as demanding as you would want.

Say what you will about Brady and P. Manning, but their exacting standards for their teammates had a lot to do with their consistency.

Rams, 1st place in the NFC !!

First, I acknowledged that he's a great QB (duh -- you don't have the success he's had without being great). Secondly, I never called him a "check down" QB, though most of his passes are in the intermediate to short range. My primary point is that he has a weak arm -- and he does -- which makes him less effective outdoors, where wind will make a big difference in his long ball.

Brees could never make the TD pass to Everett in the Chiefs game that Goff threw. Particularly outdoors in less than ideal conditions. That's just not part of his game. Brees is simply a much better QB indoors -- the record is clear on that.
How can a guy named Brees not be able to deal with a Breeze? You really have no clue about nothing!

TNF: Saints at Cowboys

The article comments are hilarious>

"If the Cowboys were going to be engaged in any type of spy operation, it definitely would be unusual for the guy to be wearing a polo shirt bearing the Cowboys logo."

"Wait? The guy wearing Cowboys gear was there the whole time, and no one from the Saints coaching staff knew who he was or his role, or bothered to find out?"

"He has to be an employee of the team. No self respecting person would wear Cowboy’s gear without being paid to do it."

Kareem Hunt...

It's shocking that you are OK with him going after her and needing to be held back by friends. He is in full blown attack mode, even after his friends get him down the hallway a bit he comes back at her.

You have no problem with that?

No problem with him kicking a woman who is not fully conscious from hitting her head on the wall because of the force of his actions?
He was talking about the video he posted.

Can The Bears Get The #2 Seed?

I think Dallas played well against New Orleans, and they appear to be playing better ball right now.

But... they’ve lost to;

Texans, Seattle, Tennessee, Washington, Carolina... pretty much everyone with a winning record.

In fact, New Orleans might be the only win against a team w/winning record.

So; while playing better perhaps, I think the win over NO is getting over hyped.

As far as Chicago...

I still think New Orleans is the team to beat for the Rams.

Rams vs. Lions week Media

.

thanks for all those @Corbin

i really like the one with matt patricia. would love to see mcvay talk about a few plays from the opposition every week.

also like the woman presenter sticking up for goff against vince and jackie.

and an insight into the jeff fisher teams. brockers saying his feelings were, "what am i doing here". makes the last two seasons that much sweeter.

.
Your welcome man! So nice to get a collection together instead of surfing for them all online. I found the same videos in particular that you mentioned interesting as well. Surprised a pretty female as her knows exactly wtf is going on outside of just general NFL terms and ways to think like the media portrays. I was damned impressed.

NCAA Football

I have posted Sportsbooks for 4 of this weekend's college football Championship games. I don't follow college football so I can't immediately spot if anything is amiss. Consequently limits are lower and the books will close 20 minutes before scheduled start times, (rather than 10 minutes as I normally do for NFL games). I will try and post handicaps on some of the lower profile and less even contests.

Be aware that due to time pressures, (creating Rams SPECIAL BETS and updating odds on Sunday), these college bets are unlikely to be settled until Sunday Night - so you won't have the funds back to wager on NFL bets. If any of the other bookies want to settle these bets before then they are welcome to do so.
