24 hours

My 3 yr old grandson is staying with us tonight. I scare him during Rams games, so my daughter wont let him watch Rams games with me til he gets older. But she does dress him in Rams gear when he comes over on Friday nights, sometimes we even wear matching Rams gear without planning it.
My 4 year old Grandson lives wtih us but this weekend he will be staying with his maternal grandmother. He is a proper Ram fan, has Jackson, Gurley, and Goff jerseys (the Goff jersey was one of his presents this last Christmas) and always watches some of the games, but he can't handle a game for 3 hours and it will be a bit loud and intense here in the Poreider family room but he will watch replays with us later in the week.

Still no respect for Goff ...

Tonight we get to see which Jared Goff shows up in a prime time playoff game. This is where most will judge him. He has to be on point. Make the throws, avoid some pressure and run when it's there. He has to limit his mistakes and protect the ball. Dallas has a defense that has become one of the best in the NFL. This will be a big test for Goff and the Rams.

Ram fans in St. Louis

Curious to know if there are still many St. Louis Rams fans on these boards and still cheering and pulling for the Rams. Also, are there many Rams fans in St. Louis and the surrounding communities still fans who get together and watch the games? I recall reading in the Los Angeles Times about a group of friends in Illinois who used to leave their homes in an RV at 5 in the morn to arrive in time to tailgate at the Edward Jones Dome before the big games. Are they still Ram fans? Do they make the trip to Los Angeles to watch the team in person?

Please LMK.

Thanks SLR - Ram fan since Harland Svare was their coach and remained a die-hard fan while the team was based in the Midwest.
How could you not root for the Rams . Its all in the horns....

Todd Gurley injury update

Hes their kupp and without their number 2 and 3 wideouts, they will be in trouble once they are behind by double digits and they are forced to run less. That's when dak will make a costly turnover effectively ending the zeke effect.
Beasley and Gallup are WR 2/3. Hurns hasn't contributed much this year especially of late. They will still have Cooper and Gallup. Jarwin TE is also Questionable.

Rams Training Facility

We haven't heard much about this, what with the stadium moving forward and the team winning so much and whatnot. But a couple years back I recall rumors that Kroenke was considering a facility that borrowed from Jerry Jones' "Star" facility. Anyone have a better memory on that, or has anything been said irt this?

Did McVay go vannila after clinching playoff spot

why not though ... the Chargers played 7 DBS against the texans (three in at linebacker) for periods of the game if they can install enough plays to change their entire defense 20 new plays on offense that no one has seen before isnt beyond the realms of possibility
That was weird, but it worked. Why not? No other reason other than I don't expect it, but I could be wrong. I wouldn't be surprised to see something new involving both CJ and Gurley.

We have not yet seen a complete game by all 3 Ram units...

Cooper is a stud, and I like Gallup and Beasley, but I think that we should put at least seven in the box with a spy (I'm guessing Barron) on Dak. I trust our corners to be able to handle their wide receivers, but I'm most concerned about Zeke. If we stop him, we stop their offense cold.

As for offense, keep their linebackers guessing, first and foremost. They have two possibly elite linebackers, but they're both young and green in the playoffs, and haven't faced a back like Gurley as of yet. Motions with jet sweeps, play-action, do what you have to do to keep them on their toes. Also, put a chip on Demarcus Lawrence. Their secondary looks vulnerable, especially with play action.

As for special teams, NO TURNOVERS ON OUR PART.

If we do those things, we'll win in all three phases.
