Is Morgan Fox the Rams most underrated 2021 free agent?

There could be some $$$ salary cap trimming coming from that DL unit once this season concludes. Snead will have $44 million of 2021 cap space invested in the DL pretty much 25 % of his 2021 salary cap. UFA Fox will be looking for a starting gig & a little more $$$.

Coaches Staley/Henderson do have 2 NT's that are still playing on their rookie contracts in Gaines & SJ-D in 2021. Only costs the Rams a total of $2 mil.

Aaron Donald $28 mil.
Micheal Brockers $10 mil.
A. Robinson 4.5 mil.

Staley is in need of finding another DL'er who can deliver on a game day besides Donald. Thus far I do not see it coming from any of the four DL'ers on this roster. Snead has been keeping a rather extra-large cadre of four DL'ers signed to his grooming practice squad this 2020 season.

Eric Banks 6-5/275-R (5 tech)
Marquise Copeland 6-2/290 2yr (1 tech/5 techs)
Michael Hoecht 6-4/310-R (1 tech/0 techs NT)
Jonah Williams 6-5/275-R (3 tech/5 techs)

Question for some of ROD's Defensive guys..... When the 2020 season concludes early next yr & before Free Agency begins would you strongly consider releasing or trading the 10 million a yr contract with DE Brockers in order to keep give & keep ER Leonard Floyd?

Yes, on the trade. Brockers could get us needed picks (we're without a first, original fourth and a fifth). I love the guy, but I could see teams like the Titans get interested.

Unfortunately, I don't think we keep Floyd. He had a prove-it deal, and he really proved it. We'll get a third round compensatory pick from both him and JJ3 in the 2022 draft. I don't like losing all these good players, but we simply can't keep everyone, and we'll need players to step up. That's how you create a dynasty: by making hard decisions.

What is wrong with Jared Goff?!?

I think his girlfriend is to blame for his bad first halves because she made him sleep on the couch the night before and he spends the entire first half trying to think up what to say to her so she will forgive him. At halftime, he calls her, she forgives him, and then he has a good to great second half. If she doesn't forgive him, then he is in a funk for the third quarter and finally snaps out of if in the fourth quarter.

Snap Counts vs 49ers

Probably not cool to bring this in The Rams house. I’m finding this guy as a passionate football coach & person.
He keeps it really.
Sean Mcvay is a different type of CAT.
Just really tough to swallow the loss when The Rams had such an advantage. The way Mcvay runs his Rams team is pretty awesome. The Covid issues Reggie has to be given an A+++++

PREGAME Pregame Thread: Rams at Cardinals

Rams at Arizona Cardinals: Who has the edge?

RAMS (7-4) vs. CARDINALS (6-5)

When: 1:05 p.m. Sunday

Where: State Farm Stadium, Glendale, Ariz.

TV/radio: Fox (Ch. 11), 710 AM, 1330 AM (Spanish)

Line: Rams by 3

Notable injuries: Rams: LB Terrell Lewis (knee) is out; DT Sebastian Joseph-Day (hip) is questionable. Cardinals: S Jalen Thompson (ankle) is out; DT Angelo Blackson (illness) is questionable; WR Larry Fitzgerald was on the COVID-19 list as of Friday.

What’s at stake? Beating the Cardinals a seventh consecutive time would put the Rams back on the playoff track after their 23-20 loss to the 49ers. Winning would lift the second-place Rams back into first in the NFC West if the Seahawks lose to the Giants, while losing would sink them to third.

Who’s better? The Rams, but it depends on the day. The Cardinals and exciting, second-year quarterback Kyler Murray are on their way to the franchise’s first winning record since 2015. Both teams mixed playoff-caliber wins with disappointing losses in November and need a solid December.

Rams win if: If the Rams defense limits the damage from Murray’s running; Arizona is 8-1 in 2019-20 when the QB carries nine times or more … if quarterback Jared Goff recovers from his bout with fumbles and interceptions … if running back Cam Akers builds on last week against a subpar Cardinals rushing defense.

Matchup to watch: Jalen Ramsey vs. DeAndre Hopkins. The NFL’s highest-salaried defensive back and wide receiver meet again. Statistically, Ramsey won most of their seven duels when he was in Jacksonville and Hopkins in Houston. He has been containing top receivers this season.

Fantasy sleeper: Robert Woods. The Rams wide receiver burned Arizona for 20 catches and 239 yards and a touchdown in their two meetings last season, and he’s coming off his most productive back-to-back games in a year in the win over Tampa Bay and loss to San Francisco.

Prediction: Rams 27, Cardinals 23. Expect Rams coach Sean McVay to improve to 7-0 in this series. Murray’s improvement, Hopkins’ addition and a tougher Arizona defense mean this won’t be as easy as the past few years, but the Rams’ defense cancels out most of the Cardinals’ strengths.

AD99 and missing holding calls

This isn't the first time a defensive player has been held excessively. Lawrence Taylor was held almost every play also. Complaining to the league didn't change things for him either.
LT is the GOAT, but he also played behind a great Dline, didnt have his knuckles in the dirt and was able to shoot gaps. With Donald, the snap of the ball may as well be "pile on the rabbit" being yelled out

Hulu 1.99 4 12 months.

Had Direct TV for 8 years. Called them up for the same deal the new people were getting. They said no. So I said, Okay, I'll drop Direct TV. All of a sudden all these deals popped up. I said, too late. You had your chance and you told me you had no deals, so you lied to me. Why should I believe you now? Did the same thing with ATT u-verse several years later. That's when I cut the cord for good.
With ATT, Direct TV same stuff, you have to ask for a retention person.

They're Idiots Direct TV charges more than Anyone

You can do this that etc etc but imho unless you have a ton of cash, stay the Hell away from Direct TV.

Rams Between the Horns

I think that comes w time. For a first timer at LT he's doing fairly well.

He looks great pass blocking one on one, moving sideways or backwards. But, I don't think its easy to improve on something like his run blocking troubles. Its either lack of quickness, the defense just moves too fast for him, or knowing how to instinctively get where your target is going and intercepting him. I think its a bit of AP three. I hope he can learn it but he had the same problem run blocking at guard too.

Edwards played great, but being bracketed by Noteboom and Blythe is almost like wasting Edwards ability on the unit. Its like Incognito when he was with the Rams.

Every NFL Team's Shopping List for 2021 Offseason

seems to me that because we have no first rd picks we take a lot of players that have questions about some part of their play. it might be health, speed, size , lack of production or they are good at one part of the game but lacking at another. i just hope we can find some complete players at ilb (plays run and pass well), wr (has speed and good hands and size) and best center with size and nastyness. i'm not asking much but that would be a nice start.
