Is Sam Bradford’s career in the NFL pretty much over?

And the rams did for Bradford?

He had no oline and no wrs. Plus his coaches were spags and Fisher. What chance did he have?

.

Well, if you're going to debate Bradford vs Luck, there is no debate. Bradford did not have the greatest support in St. Louis, but he went on to other cities and his career was checkered at best. Overall, durability was an issue, however, agreed with the Rams Bradford did have the best support, but that day is long gone.

GDT: The Late Games Week 6

.

did anyone see all the dpi flags the refs threw on the last cowboys td drive. or was it the missed fg drive? anyway they gave them 3 dpi penalties in a row, something like 40 free yards. and on all occasions the jets defender barely got there before the ball did. it was sickening to watch. then when they realised what they had done they gave some makeup calls for oline holding to push them back 20 or 30 yards. these refs man.

if the refs played it this tight in the whiners game their dbs would have been flagged almost every pass play.

.

You‘ve seen those Sports-Science videos where they attach all those sensor-ping-pong ball things all over the player?

Some day could we see that kind of technology used for some things? Maybe it would make things worse.

Maybe we have this ALL backwards... They just need fewer rules! That’s it.

This is Reminding Me of the 2002 Rams

Not quite as bad but in 2002 we started 0-5. But after our shocking SB loss to the Patriots the season before we went into the following season with an O-line playing very poorly. An injured star running back. Could not find balance on offense. A defense giving up too many 3rd downs. A scary/historic offense created by an offensive genius being found out by the rest of the league. The only thing is that our starting QB isnt injured (Warner was). We fell in a deep hole and finished 7-9 missed the playoffs. I guess SB hangovers are real. Can we rebound better than that 2002 team?
2002 the year of the turnstile John St. Clair, bum thumb, Brenda-gate and a surprising Bulger.

Week 6 2019 - Game Day Menu for Whiners..

Sorry to be late but working much.. Myself, I'm doing CGI's bratwurst chili.

Here’s how I’ve always done it;
  • Get a pack of Johnsonville brats, regular.
  • Take a serrated knife and cut down length wise each one to deskin the brats, squeeze out the sausage meat. Toss out skin.
  • Put brat sausage meat in with ground beef.
  • Cook like you would ground beef.
I make a big pot, 1lb ground beef, 5 brats. Proportion the rest of your ingredients to taste.

Also doing leftover brats from 2 packs on grill. Also burgers and brats on grill. A great salad to go with them. :) Hope all have a great Sunday football day. Peace.

Anyone watching the UFC fight night tonight?

She has tons of heart, but was just out classed last night. Easy to see how Joanna was a champion and probably will be again.
Very true. It’s sad because man years ago Waterson got me starting to follow her and the UFC. She’s the reason, always rooted for her but realized last night she doesn’t have the tenacity to win a belt.

Joanna kinda annoys me but I respect the hell out of her!

Did you watch Adeysanya? I won some good money with him! Lol

Can’t wait for Ferguson Khabib

I'm Worried About Goff

Like I tried to explain but some don’t want to hear that part I’m still a huge Goff fan! I root for him every week and will continue to.

He is in his 4th year, 3rd with the same system. Would like to see him progress and that includes performing with questionable line play, no Gurley, no Kupp and over come it.

But as you point out it’s not just Goff it’s McVay and the entire team that need to play better.

The good news is they are winning and have time to fix things.

It is hopefully and likely a blip in his career, but I do have concerns and hope he works through them soon.

This weekend would be a great time for Goff to shut up a holes like me

Let's come back to this thread with some honest evaluations of Goff's play this week.

The thing is we can't evaluate Goff in a vacuum. Goff can't block, run, catch the ball or call the plays. He is not a QB like Wilson who can run around to avoid pressure or like Big Ben who can fend off tacklers with his size and make plays. Goff can move around in the pocket but, not if pressure is coming up the middle and from the edges at the same time.

Side note I would really like to see a clock on the screen showing the time to throw/release time to see how long Goff has and how long he is holding the ball.

We have to see if the Rams can stay ahead of the chains. The offensive line has committed a lot of penalties which have made it difficult to get in a rhythm. It also is putting them behind the chains. That is making Goff's job so much harder. Against the Whiners defensive line being in 3rd and long will make it hard for Goff.

Losing Gurley this week puts more focus on Goff to make plays. When Goff gets his chances to make plays he has to make them. He has to be quicker with his reads and delivery. Hopefully, McVay calls quicker plays and keeps the Whiners defense off balance to help Goff.

I'm in for the Goff evaluation.
