PREGAME The Stink'n Fish...Lets get this party started...

Looks like the Logan Bruss era is over
Mebbe he gets signed to the PS but I kinda doubt it.
His was a compelling story of a comeback from a horrific injury but, in the end, it was apparent that he didn't have the talent to play at a high enough level.
God's speed to him in his future endeavors.

~ArkyRamsFan~
I'd be surprised if he didnt end up back on the Rams PS
Wasnt he working at OT in the off/pre-season?

Braden Fiske breakdown

He looks like he's making that adjustment to the NFL. Seemed similar to his early film at Florida St where he took a little while to get rolling vs the higher competition. But he definitely belongs. And he's already a stud rusher as an interior lineman, just needs to keep improving vs the run.

Seems like there's a chance we found 2 difference makers on defense in that draft. Crazy.

Rams CRUSH Shehags in OT - Media Fallout

I’m wondering if there’s a conscious trend by refs to go light on defensive penalties at end of games. I’m seeing a lot of no calls (defensive holding , face masking, QBs hit low, etc).
Perhaps, but there are two factors during tight stretches that can impact calls:

1. You will be criticized if you call or don’t call it. If you make a call, make it big and obvious. Even officials do not want to decide the game like the idiot who called pass interference against D Will in Buffalo.

2. There’s a lot of stress and pressure on officials, crowd noise, coaches yelling, etc. at the end of the game. Those distractions could lead to a missed call that would be made in normal circumstances.

GAME DAY TNF - Bengals at Ravens

Bengals could have also been called for holding on that play, possibly twice. The RT for sure, and it looks like the center was pulling the defender down with him.

Much easier call on the center. You can’t drag the player on top of you. Though I’m usually on the defensive side of the ball so it’s really obvious. On the tackle, it’s a 50-50 call and maybe that’s why the flank official didn’t call it.

There was no holding or significant restriction on either receiver. 88 hooks the defender, feigning a hold. Yeah, here’s your Emmy, great job by the official to keep his flag in the holster.

On 87, the waist grab happens as the ball arrives.

The only two legitimate fouls I saw were the hold on the center and the roughing the QB. Penalties offset, retry the try.

Kamren Kinchens' Big Play

Nice catch Allen.

The dude had what - 4 game changing plays in that game.?Definitely deserving of the player of the week award he got.

He really is exactly as advertised in his pre draft scouting report. Great instincts and play making ability along with big hit tackler when he wraps.

I believe he has only 4.65 speed ao not a perfect specimen. But he sure does have the game changing ability. I think he had 11 interceptions coming out but someone can fact check me.

Hopefully Tyreek hill doesn’t run past him for 3TDs thus week.
Looked pretty speedy to me running back that pick 6.

Currently in hospital with severe nerve spasms, UTI, and sepsis.

Update: Just got out of the hospital, thank holy fate. It took Dilaudad to curb the worst of the pain, and a whole hell of a lot of IV antibiotics for the UTI (and I'm still going to get antibiotics afterwards), but I'm out, and I can't wait to see our Rams kick ass.

Thank you guys so much for everything you've said. From the bottom of my heart and the tip of my soul, thank you. I love every one of you like family.

Yeah that Dilaudid is like a wonder drug for pain… I just need oxygen cuz it slows down my O2 saturation.

I’m so thankful you’re healing and I’ll pray for continued healing.

Help me understand

The Best SNL cast members are always the ones you grew up watching.

I watched Andy Samberg, Seth Meyers, Amy Poehler, Bill Hader, Fred Armisen, and Jason Sudeikis. I thought they were hysterical and I love a lot of their projects after SNL.

As a kid who rarely watched any SNL? Andy Samberg is one of my favs. Threw It on the Ground, Lazy Sunday (with Chris Parnell), just...hilarious, to me.

Snaps vs Sea

CAL Bears, actually.

Didn't mean anything pejorative by the GM comment; just pointing out that it's common for draftniks to fight for/against players based on their pre-draft positions. We all play favorites & think we're right about guys, often until there's overwhelming evidence to the contrary. Just this week, I called out a guy on YT for describing Fiske as a "whiff" & a major "project" before the season began. He did the same thing last year for LaPorta. Funnily enough, he hasn't replied to my recent check-in to see if he'd changed his position.

BUT if you're going to make sweeping generalizations based on 21 rushes, then you open yourself to questions about reasonable objectivity. If you don't like it, move on.
21 rushes is all we have to go on.
I would guess Rivers had a similar number. Of the two, Rivers ran better. It’s almost an apples to apples comparison.

I already said I loved the Corum pick. But the Rams need to win now. I didn’t say to trade him. I said I’d prefer Rivers get the snaps.

Maybe Corum isn’t quite ready yet. Rivers was more effective. Put him back. Putting in Corum so he can run into the line. Then putting Kyren right back in isn’t helping Kyren at all. It’s a long season, he needs a bit less snaps to keep him fresh as the season goes on.

When Rivers was subbing in he’d be in for much longer than they seem to put Corum in.
