Snaps vs Sea

CAL Bears, actually.

Didn't mean anything pejorative by the GM comment; just pointing out that it's common for draftniks to fight for/against players based on their pre-draft positions. We all play favorites & think we're right about guys, often until there's overwhelming evidence to the contrary. Just this week, I called out a guy on YT for describing Fiske as a "whiff" & a major "project" before the season began. He did the same thing last year for LaPorta. Funnily enough, he hasn't replied to my recent check-in to see if he'd changed his position.

BUT if you're going to make sweeping generalizations based on 21 rushes, then you open yourself to questions about reasonable objectivity. If you don't like it, move on.
21 rushes is all we have to go on.
I would guess Rivers had a similar number. Of the two, Rivers ran better. It’s almost an apples to apples comparison.

I already said I loved the Corum pick. But the Rams need to win now. I didn’t say to trade him. I said I’d prefer Rivers get the snaps.

Maybe Corum isn’t quite ready yet. Rivers was more effective. Put him back. Putting in Corum so he can run into the line. Then putting Kyren right back in isn’t helping Kyren at all. It’s a long season, he needs a bit less snaps to keep him fresh as the season goes on.

When Rivers was subbing in he’d be in for much longer than they seem to put Corum in.

Trade Deadline for the Rams

Spotrac has up-dated for the White trade, and it shows an increase of $800K of cap space.
Went from $2.2M to $3M. Don't know about the accuracy.

Over-the-Cap has not yet up-dated. With White on the roster, OTC has the Rams with $1.8M of cap space.

As of this morning, Spotrac increased the Rams current cap space by another $500K to $3.5M; and
OTC has up-dated to reflect the White trade, having the Rams with $3M of cap space.

A Tweet that will warm Rams fans’ hearts (and maybe make you feel a bit old)

Especially behind the O Line we had then.

The Redskins’ Hogs may have got all the headlines, but our OL was just as good.
Dickerson shined without the threat of a pass game except his first year with Ferragamo. And even then we passed 512 times (including drops that were sacks) and ran it 511. Then he had Kemp and Brock under center, both less prolific than Ferragamo. We can only imagine that offense with the best RB of his time and a good young QB with multiple WR weapons.

Nacua’s return

Hopefully the OL will give Stafford plenty of time to throw, which also means our depth wideouts have more time to get open. If the protections are good we should be able to put up some points without Puka. It's not like Seattle has been hard on QBs. They're ranked 20th in passer rating against.

GAME DAY TNF - Texans at Jets

For three quarters the Jets looked absolutely horrible on offense. Like, pre-McVay Rams type bad. But they managed to pull it off in the end thanks to an almost impossible TD catch by Wilson and Rodgers finally burning off whatever was in his system so he could function.

The Texans are free-falling. Their offense is dealing with the kind of injuries we were 6 weeks ago. They had players dropping like flies yesterday on both sides of the ball.

Eventually one of them had to win I guess.
