Kingsbury is also aware of how tough the Rams' defense has been in the second half – Los Angeles has allowed seven or fewer points after halftime in 8 of its 11 games this season.
I think it's easy to understand if you consider the context. If they were going to run a quick play and pass, McVay likely wanted to wait until afterwards in hopes we could force an incompletion. But the 49ers slowed it down and had a favorable running matchup. As I noted earlier, after the TO, we came out with personnel to defend the run. Seems clear to me that McVay recognized that SF was going to try and run the ball to kill clock and get the first. He then decided to call a TO in hopes we could stuff the run, use our remaining TOs, and try to get the ball back.
The refs always help the Stealers, they sure are a darling team of the NFL. Ask any Ravens fan about that.
I agree he always plays well. She just seemed to have some extra sauce/success against the 69ers. It was his occasional A++ game vs his A/A+ game.C'mon man. Wussel and Brady were pissing in their pants when they saw AD coming towards them and threw the ball early on many occasions, leading to incompletions. And he freed up other guys to make plays. He played great in those two games.

The Rams offense will average 30 ppg over the last five, I gaurantee it. This offense is about to explode.
Conversation used to be "who is better--Goff or Wentz'.
Now it's "who is worse"..

I love watching Whitworth on Colins show. Actually think they compliment each other very well!Andrew Whitworth discusses his recovery & success with the Rams. Plus, hear what Andrew has to say about Jared Goff overcoming adversity & Sean McVay's approach to coaching.

I think everyone wants to avoid traveling to Green Bay in the late rounds of the playoffs.
Lol. You must have been dying waiting for your chance to take a shot Staley, its been what, 7 or 8 weeks since his last questionable game? What I still can't fathom is WTF was Staley doing by starting his second-string CBs and playing them most of the game?
I know just the guy...he’s likely FISH “ER’ ING these daysI dont think the Jets scenario is as bad as Darnold makes it look. They do need a legit HC, lord knows if that idiot management team can pick one. But with the Giants terrible also, its a great spot to be in. I agree with @den-the-coach that Lawrence would be the toast of NYC. They have a decent WR crew, a second 1st round pick and a monster of an OLT. Like we saw with the Rams, the right guy could flip the switch and make it happen.
Of course we've also seen from Rams of yesteryear, the wrong guy could aspire for merely 7-9 bullcrap
Yeah Reeder is just too damn slow. I like his vision and tackling ability but he just cannot assist in covering the TE and RBsSpeed at linebacker could really help this Rams defense.
