GAME DAY Week 1 - The Early Games

Will wonders never cease? Protection breaks down. Fields scrambles around. Finds a wide open Dante Pettis, he catches and runs in for the touchdown. Just when I said the Bears are not capable of scoring.

I didn't say he was having a good game - I said he had a good drive for the 2nd TD

It was a good mix of run and passes on that drive.
 
Detroit has a terrible D. Jalen is not that good of a passer but can run the ball well.

Should just keep blitzing on him. Give him time, he can find a wide open receiver or scramble for a lot of yards.
 
Lance will take on tacklers when he runs with the ball. At some point you have to wonder how long he will last. I personally don't want to see him injured and missing games. In my opinion they aren't as good with Lance as they are with Garoppolo. I'd rather see Lance play all 17 games.

So THEY had a good drive. Dude, we get it... you Goff. You don't have to prove your Fandom anymore than you have, trust me. :-)

Agreed, but Lance is not long for this season if he continues to play reckless like he has today. Yeesh.

That might be why they let him play like that. They probably prefer Garoppolo in there. Lance getting injured is the perfect excuse.

I will say, Fields is starting to use his legs more and the Bears offense is starting to look better now.

Wow, color me shocked. After looking lost offensively in the first half, the Bears now take the lead 13-10. Kicker missed the extra point after Fields throws another TD pass to a wide open receiver. 49er secondary looks confused out there at times.
 
I also defended Darnold until I couldn't anymore lol

Big USC fan.
 
Soldier field is a sloppy mess....
not surprised at muffed kicks..
... or towels on the grass!!!
