Is Lamar purposely playing like shit to make a statement about his contract? Obviously he doesn't want to put his health at risk so I don't blame him if he's playing tentatively.

Justin Fields. 3 for 7. 19 yards. And a pick. QB rating 10.7. Yeah, I'd say he sucks. 49ers up 7-0 and probably don't need to score anymore to win. Unless the Bears get a defensive or special teams score.
 
Four turnovers in five possessions for Joe Burrow. Not seeing the field well.
 
Deebo still being used the same way. 4 carries and two receptions. Both receptions were caught behind the line of scrimmage. If the 49ers continue to use him like a running back you have to wonder how long he will last.

I don't know what the average starting field position is. But it sure seems like the whiners have been starting with really good field position while the Bears and continually backed up to start. Not good when you have a bad quarterback and weak wide receivers. Montgomery can only do so much.
 
Man - Detroit's receivers and Goff are not on the same page

I do not know who is at fault because he is throwing one way and the receiver is going the other way
 
Lol, the hapless Bears were getting ready for a field goal. The holder uses a towel to dry the spot where he puts the ball down. Apparently thats illegal and a 15 yard penalty. They end up punting instead. Keeping the shut out intact. :laugh4:

The Detroit offense I have seen today has been all swift. Goff has been absolutely awful so far. No chance that offense is top half of the league with that kind of play.

That was a miscommunication between Goff and the receiver

Ball went one way and the receiver went another way

Saw that with Stafford Thursday and I am defending Goff just like I defended Stafford on that play
