I won't - I hate that crappy song - it's so fricken annoying

My wife hates it too. And we rarely agree on songs. She likes the Fray. Their singing reminds me of fingernails on the chalkboard.

I always have to get out an old Queen song to get their singing out of my head.

But she also hates Bob Dillon so there is that. His singing sounds like he is constipated.

I still have most of those tix stubs. The cost of most of these shows at that time was $12-$20 IIRC. The cost of shows post Napster/iTunes etc obviously changed things dramatically. Shows are outrageous these days.

I went to get (2) tix for the Police reunion tour in '07 and nearly fainted. It was something like $300. Just a few years ago i took a date to see REO Speedwagon because she was a big fan. REO, a band i liked in the early 80's when they were huge. REO...now an old, casino dwelling decades old rock band filling small venues. $80/tix. GTFO. Of course i submitted because...it was important to my date.

I get why these shows are pricey. I'm ramblin but it's another case of technology and the download culture all but eliminating what was once an affordable concert going culture for young people and adults.

John Carpenter baby. I can't even imagine the 80's without JC's films. Anti hero counter culture gold, not to mention his horror/sci fi classics.

Our local skating rink closed like 20 years ago , the building is still there , but now it's subdivided into a gun and ammo store and a rent -a-center

haven't been skating in years , tried some inline skating when my daughter was young
