True or not, this and the Kupp trade talks would give the average fan, the feeling of the front office doesn't see a run this year, and a rebuild.

Giants fans think we are going to trade Stafford to them.
Yeah there is no way the Rams would move Matt anywhere he doesn't want to go. I could see Minnesota, since he knows the offense cold and has protection and weapons there. But no way they send him to a non-contender even assuming the rumors are real.

Lets say this is true for arguments sake, have to think the Rams have an eye on a certain QB they like in the draft. Wonder who? Also this fits the Bellichick phylosophy of get rid of them a year early than too late.

Probably eat his salary and only get a conditional 6th rounder in return if it happens. Aka the Snead special…
If they're gonna blow it up they better freaking get good return. I'm so confused by this team. They're constantly pivoting on their pivots.

Vikings get Stafford and Kupp for Darnold, a 2025 1st and a 2026 1st? That's about the only deal I care for.
They better be throwing him in there are another 1st and 2nd

I did zero research forming that hypothetical scenario. With that being said... if a team wants to get a deal done, cap space can be created. It's just a matter of how far do they want to kick the can.

Even if we entertain this idea as being more than some rumor fueled by an internet rando, has anyone thought at all where JJ McCarthy fits into this? He was the first round pick of the Vikings and would probably be starting had he not got hurt in the preseason.
