His ability to stay on the field is the biggest issue. He's an old 35. McVay absolutely loves the guy so he'll continue to ride with him. Best thing is to take the draft capitol next draft and get the QB of the future.

This. Stafford has always been inconsistent but ever since the sb he's been consistently avg to below avg. I've been waiting for him to pop off but it hasn't happen and now he can't stay healthy.

Was in the top tier of big throws and a few other telling metrics.
Last two weeks he’s been getting hit.
First four weeks.. No Kupp.

Ball is coming out of his hands as well as ever.

Completion percentage.. well.. Rams 2nd in league in drops. Might be first after this week.

So, I still don’t see it.

Again… #2 all time in pick 6 throws.

He is who he is.

35 ain’t old for a QB with his arm.

But it is when you take the hits he’s taken over his career.

Big time throws are great…when they lead to points. 1 TD a game doesn’t cut it in the NFL. I’d take a QB throwing 34 TDs a game and leading to the playoffs over a QB throwing 17 but has 6000 yards and a losing record.

His pick six took any wind out of the Rams sails, just like his pass to Watt did against the Steelers. We fire the kicker for missing kicks but want to handicap our future for an underperforming quarterback?

We ditched Goff for less

You keep missing a major point.

He’s ALWAYS thrown pick 6s.

And this entire offense is nowhere near as good as the 21 team.
 
I'd trade for Minshew. At least get him on your team while you draft a prospect. I don't think Stafford has the time for a rebuild

Why would the Colts trade their starting QB? They wouldn't. Its insane how many teams have and have had superior back up QB's to us for years. We essentially have a street FA as our back up every year, and every year they seem to need to play. When will Snead and McVay realize the obvious?
 
gotta hope it's just sprained....

A bad strain you couldn't throw a football very well after it swells up.. but could be okay in a week.

Ligament tears, or fractures and who knows if he could come back this year.

out of 32 teams how many have "good" back ups....

id say thats pretty rare.

Done with what? The season? That hasn't been confirmed either way.

Career? Performance? I don't think so. Bad as the last 2 games were guy has been sharp. Passing tuds haven't been there bc they give the ball to the RBs at the goal. Which is what people scream for on a daily basis.

The pick 6 was bad and im tired of that shit.

But there were no sails and no wind nor was there going to be in that game.
 
Do some of you read what you write before you post? Get a decent line, not the one that gave up a 60% pressure rate today, and Stafford will be fine. The line doesn’t even need to be as good as the Eagles or Lions, and we will win some games with Stafford.

Stafford ain't fuckin done.

He's got a weak OL in front of him right now, and he has no damn running game.

Is Mahomes done? He just threw a few picks and lost to the Broncos??

Yea...he did that with a 2-1 td/int ratio. Now he's at a 1-1 ratio and that's just not acceptable for any qb much less Stafford.

Mahomes threw 2 interceptions and no touchdowns today and lost to the Broncos!
Stafford will have bad games, but I think he's still the best option for us at this time.
