WTF happened to our OL though? They were looking much better a few weeks ago. Nobody was talking about a weak OL after we played the 9ers, and they have a fucking stellar DL.

Umh.. also had years with 20, 19, 17, and 16 int's with Detroit. And 17 int's in 2021. And leads NFl active qbs with 29 pick sixes. But you're right, his overall rate still is no worse than a lot of qbs. Also had 8 losing seasons and some serious injuries in Detroit.

But we knew all that when we traded for him. Main thing for the Rams was he avoided game losing mistakes while making game winning plays in the 2021 Super Bowl run.

But can he stay healthy at this point in his career? Can he make a not so good team a contender? And can the Rams afford him while they try to rebuild? Not sure the answers all line up as yes.

Also have to say I really can't believe he hurt his thumb trying to catch a 2 point conversion. How stupid does that call look right now?

It’s not. But there are multiple factors at play.
His actual play… not the basic numbers.. has been much like the rest of his career, imo.

It's pretty cliche how quickly people turn to "it's a bad QB," even on this board.

Matt is a hall of very good QB.. not an HOF guy. He's always had rough patches.
None of what's happening hasn't happened before with him.. and the arm strength and ability to move around in the pocket aren't the problems.

Not if they are done with the season and let the train crash continue because they are saving cash and draft picks/positioning for 2024.

What the fuck does that even mean.
Anyone thinks that doesn’t realize how lucky we are to have him as QB.
He is a gunslinger, and I’ll take that all day long, cuz usually he delivers.
Niners made Dallas look like Dallas made us look today.

It happens. Refs fucked us early on, and it went downhill. Big deal. Shit happens. But to say Stanford is done(other than injury) is just ignorant.

Honestly,.it feels like ever since QBs wifey got the podcast platform shit has been trending downhill. She wants him retired. We need to pivot and draft 2 QB prospects if that's what it takes
 
Stafford is not done, His O-line protection( Or lack thereof) is the Problem! Hes got 2.5secs or less to throw, and hes used to Kupp bailing him out of failed O-line coverage. Its what hes used to. He somewhat trusts Puka now, but the rest forget it. Shelton was non existant yesterday, and Stafford was like WTH a lot of the times and either just threw or dumped it to Hendo, or Hig! Only times others get it, is when hes like im tired of this shit, and just throws it.
