Agree that it happens.
Not every down (that's ridiculous) but Quinn often got held like that because of how he rushed off the edge with great bend and leverage (similar to Miller on the specific play I referenced). Donald ... not nearly as much.
Every down? ... Not a chance. That's just silly.
I simply don't share the paranoia about fixes and agendas. Just not rational in my opinion.
I am referring to one specific play where Havenstein did not hook and release which is often not called.
He hooked and held it. It was a clear penalty. Often called but not always.
I have re-watched the game three times; and, while I agree it does happen more than occasionally and is not always called, it Absolutely does NOT happen as often as you suggest. This one was blatant, not called and it benefited the Rams. Helped to balance-out some blown calls that hurt the Rams.
