When this all pans out, like these things usually do, it will just be a distraction. That's what this team needs the least is just one more distraction. Putting up with the move, larger more vocal fan base, more media attention, "why isn't Goff starting?" crap, and Williams going back to New Orleans are all distractions, and for the most part, non directly football ones as well. Not a smart public relations move, and it is really bad form. I just like football.

New drinking game, guys. Take a drink on Sunday every time one of the announcers says, "Dickerson".

Hey Eric Dickerson, you can watch the games at my house anytime, and we will commiserate together. I have a nice recliner and 4K big screen. The catch? You gotta come to Southern Oregon. Ha ha. Seriously though, I think Fish is wishing he hadn't called a 7-9 season a bullshit season. They ARE that bad. NO MORE EXCUSES. Go Rams. Btw, I have stopped watching the games. I am not a glutton for punishment. New coach please.

Do we have a cure for our teams ED? Yes, it's called Viagra. I haven't gotten wood from Rams play since GSOT!!

Well, after listening to this interview I'd say ED did blow this out of proportion. However, it was also a dick move by Fisher to even call him to ask him to basically be a team player and not speak badly of them. Why is Fisher even spending one second worrying about it? Spend that second figuring out why you're about to be the most losing coach in NFL history. So I don't feel sorry for Fisher over this.

I watched the Fisher press conference just now and it appears Dickerson has his panties in a bunch. The drama in most of the posts here is laughable and obviously without giving Fisher the benefit of hearing his side. Who the fuck is the bozo tweeting this crap? Any one see anything directly from Dickerson?

The press was not giving Fisher any softballs and he handled it. From the Dickerson nonsense to Grob and the flare up on the sideline with Williams. He also said the fans have a right to be upset and that the record falls on him and he's still not looking over his shoulder.

Still our coach and our team and trying to work through the crap storm they are in, he like the rest of the Rams deserve our support on this website.

This team deserves to be criticized. Eric is basically just a fan now and he gives voice to a lot of frustrated fans, that's all. Fisher should own up to the failure.

If anyone should be banned from the sideline, it's Jeff Fisher.

Yeah, ED said he won't show up as long as Fisher is coach. If Fisher gets another year I have a feeling a lot of fans will be joining ED.

It is like watching a football version of the Caine Mutiny over and over again.
One of my all time favorite movies! Pretty good analogy IMO.

Taken individually, these things aren't a big deal.

But looked at collectively, a pattern seems to emerge and that's not good. Too many dostractions getting too much publicity says to me that the organization is dysfunctional (or becoming dysfunctional).

As far as who I trust is telling the truth here... I'd go with ED. I've seen too many instances where Fisher says one thing, then it turns out to be completely different.

Remember the "Austin Davis is our QB for the remainder of the season" stuff?... plenty of other examples as well. So, I'll believe ED before Fisher any day.

Either way, it's a hot mess. Things are getting really sloppy.

Why would Dickerson even want to go to the games if he's going to just talk shit about the team the whole time? This team doesn't need anymore distractions nor does our 22 year old quarterback need someone telling him he's a bust. Dickerson was a great player for the rams and deserves alot of respect but you can't bash the team and it's players and expect them to take it with a smile .

How badly was ED bashing the Rams? I never saw or heard much about him doing that.

I think that this is the final nail in the coffin of Fisher as head coach of the Rams.
Kroenke is a business man first. This is bad for business.
There is a good chance come January that the Rams will be fighting the Chargers for the LA market fans.
IMO, the one thing that Kroenke will do everything possible is to get the marketing of the Rams for the opening of the stadium. Former stars of the Rams like ED can help. This would actually hurt massively

How can you say Eric Dickerson has his "panties" in a wad like he's some woman, and then ask us to have reverance for Fisher?!

i don't understand the vibe of your post at all

Everyone here supports the Rams!!!!'
What is this about "deserve" ?

The Rams don't "deserve" my support,
I give my support to the Blue and Gold by my Free Will

by the sound of your comment it's clear your personal idea of "support" means something totally different than what it mean to most of us

If you go back and read all the comments you'll see we are all enjoying discussing this topic and have all been doing so both intelligently, rationally, and supportive as well.

But why is this even being discussed? I mean uou yourself mentioned that he eas being asked "tough" questions and responded - one of which was the Dickerson situation - it's cause it's a PROBLEM - a "crap storm" as you put it

You can't look at what's happening on the field to the club/franchise we support and think everything is fine - it's inconsistently inconsistent and all moves made by our HC seemingly go against all logic - like calling up a Hall of Fame player and asking him to not speak his mind.

So with all that aside
Here is my biggest question to you, whether or not you think this is a big deal or not,

#1. Why fuck with Eric Dickerson?

Why?

Eric just called into ESPN710 this morning said Fisher is the one that called him, Fisher said he made the coaches and players feel uncomfortable on the sidelines and that they won't be giving him stuff (pre game pass he asked for) because of it and he didn't want Eric on the sidelines.

If its true, smh Fisher
