I'm not worried about any of the QBs. Our QB can match up with any of them.
I see it differently. QB’s don’t really matchup vs other QB’s in the context I’m speaking of. I’m talking about our D vs other QB’s.

Like you said…I ain’t worried about our QB.

The Eagles worry me more than any of the other teams.
I think that the NFC SB team will go through the performance of Olines and Dlines.
Rams are improving, Eagles are top in NFC.

Rams have a real chance to make the SB. They stack up to any team in the NFC.

PS if only we still had AD (just kidding btw/f AD doesn't retire, we don't have the Verse/Fiske pair

Funny thing is with ATL a division leader now, the Rams don't have the only negative point differential as division leader. Atlanta is at -22

Until the Rams D shows that they can consistently catch and wrap these QBs up, a running one will always concern me. Old man Rodgers escaped one time too many yesterday.... can't imagine Hurtz or Daniels being contained by our D yet. Start thinking about employing a spy, because the OLBs just don't contain and take too many inside rushes.

The Panthers used a spy to keep on Murray in check. He was a special teams player I believe but he is very fast. The played him on defense on passing downs.

I immediately thought that Whittington could do that.

I haven't looked that hard but not really? Assuming that both the Lions and Vikings win next week, the final week will be for the division and no.1 seed since they're both 14-2. If the Vikings win that would make the Lions the wild card team which means that however the playoffs shake out if at some point there's a Detroit/LA matchup the game will be held in LA as the higher seed.
Shit didn't think of that. Completely forgot that the Vikings are still nipping at their toes. My bad Corbin! Lol

I do not understand the mentality of those who want the Horns to win the SuperBowl, but want them to avoid playing certain teams. As long as there are no critical injuries, a team capable of hosting the Lombardi trophy should be able to beat all comers! I would take a healthy 2024 Horns squad with Matthew behind a solid OL against any NFL team!!! :fistbump1:
Totally agree. Said it before and I'll say it again. Don't care who they put in front of us, we just need to beat their ass.

I love Whitt on ST, he does it all. I wouldn't think to play him on D though because of all the extra learning involved, but stranger things have happened.

So if "Go Vikings!" we could potentially host Detroit for that sweet sweet revenge?

Would much rather play Minn than Det. That Lions offense is on another planet. Not the team we played week one.
Isn't that team decimated with injuries, or are they getting everybody back? We went toe to toe with them back then and most teams haven't done that all year. We weren't exactly firing on all cylinders back then either.

Yes and matchups generally do matter in the playoffs as well. Each team in the playoffs has areas of strength, and sometimes those align to make a lesser matchup like a wildcard team very dangerous to a top contender.

Eagles are a bad matchup for us because their OL can handle the strength of our defense. That's not to say the Rams cannot upset them. But I would prefer to play some other teams.

I agree with the sentiment above by others that if we can get the 3 seed we are in good shape. The Packers are probably the shittiest matchup for us of the lower seeds, but I'd rather play them than the Eagles.

Week 18 NFC games that affect shit from as far as I can tell.

Are the Rams locked into the 3 seed regardless of next week?
Or can we fall down to 4 with a loss and TB win?
