I'm not following. Why would BB be paid like an every down player? He doesn't have a pass rush skillset.

Puka will be the only player worthy of an extension after the '25 season.

You're making contradicting arguments. If A-Rob and Gaines are superior run defenders than BB, then it won't be very costly to resign him.

I think A-Rob got $5 mil. and Gaines got $4 mil. There's no way Brown doubles their salary at $9 mil. when they're better than him.

Good decision to move off of Jones, bad decision to start Reeder.

As the cap goes up, salaries go up... he will get more tjan those guys and I think his age will make teams think he has more upside. Maybe not $9M, but it will be $6M or more.

Rozeboom is definately playing better than earlier in the season and does seem to make a couple nice plays each game but he’s a depth player not a run stuffer/ game changer. What the Lions did to him/ Reeder game 1 and Saquon did to him/Speights was shameful. Also he gets KILLED by TEs/RBs running short routes across the middle.

I trust Rams made the right decision long term but it probably cost the Rams a couple games this season. Is there something I missed re: your MFer comment towards Jones. Did he in fact try playing hardball for more $$ or pout about not getting it?

Well I am not a mind reader. But he returned from injury behind on the scheme according to comments by the Rams. Not like he can't study the changes to the defense while on the sideline, after all. So I think that plus the Rams moving him when they otherwise seemed ready to let him play out the contract... Speaks volumes.

So you like to pick and choose when to believe what the Rams say?

Just the tackling alone has helped this defense. It’s self defeating to play a bend but don’t break style and then not stop the play in front of you. Verse was whiffing a lot early on, but now we see him throwing blockers around making some nice plays at or behind the LOS. Rozeboom has showed improvement as well.

Going into this season, isn’t this kind of what we expected from this defense? Growing pains due to youth/lack of experience.

They’re gonna have a big test on Sunday. If they’re ready, this is gonna be a fun game. Allen can turn the ball over if pressed.
