Sebastian Castro, Jay Higgins or Jermari Harris are Hawkeyes to look at in the draft this year! In that order too!
 
I don't believe it at all, but, what would you guys think is fair compensation for Stafford to Giants? Again, this is very hypothetical.

I'm not sure about anyone on the roster. They would not send us Banks, Nabers, Lawrence, Burns or Thomas. They don't have much outside that. I'd have interest in Nubin and T.Johnson. 2.34 would likely be the starting point.

I chuckled at this originally, but then considered that Daboll is probably as desperate as any NFL coach has ever been. If the Rams could get their 2025 first round pick, or their 26’ first round pick it could pay off. With the Giants offensive line and Matthew’s lack of mobility, I doubt Stafford gets halfway through the season. So their 2026 pick could be top 5 and get the Rams in rage to draft a QB.

How would you feel about 2025 second and a 2026 first?

IMO - it might be time to move on.It’s WE not ME !! Just wondering what the Rams Players are thinking.

IMO also 2 years ago she started in on The Rams & Mcvay bringing in young players.Puka has been sort of the savior???

Still upset at The Rams for not locking up D.Robinson?? The cost might a lot more.Hoecht,A.Jackson ? So it’s not not keeping your own.

Kupp imo did it himself as well saying he wanted the ball more to the press right after the game. I just wonder if it was he & Stafford falling out ? Kelly though said she was upset the direction The Rams were going letting Kupp go.

I'm certain the Rams would jump at that offer. IMO, that is more then fair compensation. We can then immediately move to acquiring a QB or 2 for the next couple seasons (Z.Wilson, Fields, Darnold, Hooker, etc.). They are not Stafford, but, what do we have left with him, 1 to 2 seasons? Then what? A late 1st round stab at a QB? I still remember the lean years all too well.

Why are they getting rid of Kupp ?
You have to move on at some point. Like the post said. Staffords lack of mobility.

Sean Mcvay is a play caller at heart.Stafford lacks mobility limits what he can do with his play calls.

At least that’s my thoughts.Even Jared Goff gets out of the pocket faster.If you can still get value for Matthew Stafford & save with the Salary Cap it might be the Best Time after his last couple seasons.

I was at a game & when Stafford takes a deep drop he’s in trouble with any kind of a pass rush.It’s not my call. I support whatever direction The Rams go,but I like the idea of seeing what Mcvay can do with a guy like Justin Fields(lol).Was going to ask a Steelers fan about it yesterday,but didn’t have the heart to Fathom what that would look like ?? Be careful of what you wish for ?

I know, they tried to give Ramsey a choice. But Stafford is the one who wants the new contract. It wasn’t the Rams this time.

I think it’s the job of every GM to maximize return on any trade. That’s a pet peeve I and many others have with Snead. I get loyalty and appreciation, but when it comes to needing a QB, it should be no holds barred.

There was a rumor about Kupp to Pittsburgh.Wonder the cost of Fields ? What or could The Rams eat some of the contract.
 
The idea of Stafford to NY is just Dumb, in my opinion. However, the local NY sports media is all-over this.

By-the-way, in my opinion, the NY sports media is absolutely fucking awful.

One example ... popular morning show (Sal & BT) spent twenty minutes today on Stafford to the Giants.
Co-host Sal Licata was very much on-board with such a move; and, thinks once Stafford exercises his opt-out to become a free agent, the Giants should sign him.

Let me just repeat that for anyone who missed it ... The FUCKING MORON SAID (multiple times) ...
'Once Stafford exercises his opt-out to become a free agent'

Such is the level of incompetence in local sports media.
