My game balls....

Turner won a lot of one on one match ups and collected two sacks.

Hoeght....dude set the edge, covered and made plays. He was probably helped by a slower track. He is going to get paid by someone this off season.

Evans....good punting in bad conditions.

Dotson....did nasty work all night. Gave up his normal 1 to 2 pressures, but, dominated in the run game. I counted three or four pancakes blocks

Williams....so shifty and elusive. A workhorse twice in 5 days....rest up. Good ball security.

Witherspoon....He had a good game. No, he wasn't burned on the deep pass break up. He was playing trail technique which he does a lot and well. Good game overall by the secondary, although, Purdy certainly missed some throws. Nice to see the unit and Witherspoon have a good game.

Limmer....got beat once or twice pass blocking but was very effective turning his guy run blocking. He is strong at the point of attack. Something that was lacking with Shelton and Allen.

Karty....all very makable kicks....but, he made them.

F them Whiners.
Thats 3 in a row now over those suckers.
The physicality in this rivalry has now switched. The Rams O and D lines bullied the Whiners in the second half of this game.
44 points or 12, a win is a win.....and any win over the Whiners is a sweet one.
Great list. I’d add BYoung. He played like his hair was on fire last night. It’s amazing how each week it’s a different tandem that step up in the group of Turner/Verse/Fiske/BYoung/Hoecht/ BBrown/Davis. This may be the number 1 NFL DL by next year.

That pass to Parkinson... the recognition by Stafford to know he'd be wide open on a crucial 3rd down catch to ice the game. An absolute dagger, and it shows you what a future HOF QB brings to a team.
Roze & Speights both had a great game, so nice to have a ILB duo that just knows when to knife in to make a play & stop these good 9er RB's cold. Nothing like seeing TFL's show up on your LB's stat sheet.
I LOOOVE seeing our ground-and-pound OG's paving highways for KW & BC. With a legit running AND passing game, we're hard to beat in any weather.

This 10 days off might be just what Verse and Fiske need to make it thru the long NFL season. Verse especially looking tired. Plus the ankle.

He's never been a good WR, and he never works on it as a craft the way guys like Kupp and Puka do. He'll never be more than a guy with good athletic talent, but he can't separate for shit.

If he wants to know who to blame about not getting the ball more, he should look in the mirror, because he's never put in the work to become a good WR.
Hell his skills are degraded from running to and he has a pot belly now. He’s a has been tbh.

And he's owed 28 million next year. This just might be his last season. They're committed to Aiyuk. Between the two of them Deebo is more expendable.

I was at the game and one of the most annoying parts of the game was them trying to play the part of the Turn The TV off song where Kendrick Lamar screams "Mustard!" when they know damn well he's s So Cal cat. Fuck that fake, whack ass team!

things i think i saw. k williams really don a nice job helping pass protection. d williams and hole defensive back field done really nice job.the hole d line especially turner done a great job. lb had their best game of the year especially hoecht. anyway that sounds kinda like the whole team played really well and it did.

BTW DC Chris Shula rushing 5 on the last play of the game as Rozeboom sacked Not So Purdy was just a fantastic call in that moment. No Hail Mary, but the call to rush 5 was full of Grace.
It takes several seconds for all the receivers to run down and get in position. The one that worked for the Commodes the qb was running around for 6 seconds and the db blew his assignment, so it seems like a better option to make the qb throw it before he’s ready and a guy with an arm like Purdy is really going to have to give it all he’s got which is hard with someone bearing down on you.

This is interesting. The 49ers' confusion allowed us to convert the late first down to Parkinson, but if Hufanga had covered him, Stafford has a TD to Kupp. The 49ers' adjustment to the motion resulted in Fred Warner on Kupp, and Kupp beat him badly (faked like he was going to run an out and then blew by him). Basically, by screwing up that coverage, the 49ers saved themselves from giving up a TD lol.

Are he and Speights.. LEGIT ILBs?
IMO, no. Roseboom can run and sometimes provides solid play, but he isn't a reliable tackler and doesn't cover that well. Hard to say with Speights, as he's a rookie. But thus far, he's been very up and down, mostly down.

If you watch teams with good/great ILB play, there's a substantial gap between what we see and what they see. They're seeing the sort of play Roseboom provided against SF every week. We'd do well to upgrade at the position.
