Great list. I’d add BYoung. He played like his hair was on fire last night. It’s amazing how each week it’s a different tandem that step up in the group of Turner/Verse/Fiske/BYoung/Hoecht/ BBrown/Davis. This may be the number 1 NFL DL by next year.
Good point regarding Young.

Man - how can you leave Rozeboom off this list? He had the best game of his career.
He was good....I think he played better a couple of weeks ago....but, it's just what I noticed.
I was pretty focused on the line play, as I always am, during the game.
He has certainly improved overall since Reeder went on IR.

I think Debo has been beat up over the years because he doesn't run as hard now. Those hits add up and he realizes he can't run like that anymore. It take a toll on the body.
He's not the same guy. He's on the downslope of his career. Special player at his peak, but he played like a HB. That wear and tear, especially on a smaller guy, adds up. It's something we should keep in mind with Puka. Love his ultra physical style, but the hits he takes will add up.

I have to say that after we started 1-4, I thought the season was over. In game 6, I was doing what I used to do with AD( and now Fiske and Verse), watching him wanting to see his greatness while roasting hot dogs over the dumpster fire that was the Rams back in the day. It just didn't seem reasonable to expect a comeback like that, two years in a row. Old School and others kept the faith from start up till now, so good on you!
Same here. After my preseason prediction of the Rams coasting to a division win I started to have doubts that the team would get healthy in time to compete. So I focused on the Defensive and offensive line play.

Not only Puka...but also Williams too. That guy is a wrecking ball when he runs. He needs to take a page out of Eric Dickerson's book. E. D. wore every type of pad he could to protect himself. Walter Payton was the same way also. If you run hard...PAD UP!!!

I also like Marshall Faulk's view that as long as you are hitting the defender, you are ok. If they start hitting you first it means you've lost a step and maybe it's time to retire.......
BTW, I might have to start calling you Chief Woodie!

Meh. Wasabi in the US is pretty much hydrated green horseradish and/or mustard powder. Never had horse radish on a prime rib or ribeye?

Best meal I ever had was on my wedding night… prime rib with creamy horseradish. The prime rib was so tender, I was able to cut the cool leftovers with a fork.

Okay…the second best meal…

Rewatching the game. Decided to put some Papa's Pilar in a particular little vessel to make it taste even better. Mmmmm quite yummy.

By nature I am a holdout. I want to see the hand that's going to beat me in cards. I want to hold out giving up on my team until as late as possible. I will admit, at 1-4 I was close and it depended on the Raider game. After that, the Vikings game. The way we won the Seattle game gave me great confidence.

But look back at the schedule following the 1-4 start. There were reasons not to expect great things.
Vegas, the Vikings (playing well), Seattle, Miami, New England, Philly, New Orleans, Buffalo and SF. Some said we'd be lucky to win 3 games, therefore predicting nothing better than a 4-10 record.

I'm glad they were wrong but you can't fault anybody for thinking that way. Well, maybe a little bit.

IMO the reputation that Verse has early has caused more focus on stopping him, and BY has been THRIVING off that

Prime rib with horseradish. Mmm.
I still like my Prime Rib without horseradish.

However, there is one place in Arizona that my brother takes me to that has Prime Rib with a juice that is just awesome. It's at his home's golf course too. Some of the best meals I have had are at golf courses.

Prime Rib at my brothers.

Wings at the golf course near my work.
