You guys see how we lost again last Sunday night to the Pats? Ouch another tough loss. I hope you guys thrash Seattle. We hate Seattle a lot. You guys think we should fire McCarthy?
I work with a Packers fan who loathes McCarthy, especially after cutting Jermaine Whitehead on Tuesday. Personally, I think the Packs problems are due more to the lack of impact players acquired through the draft and free agency over the last few years. Maybe part of that is on McCarthy. You guys see how we lost again last Sunday night to the Pats? Ouch another tough loss. I hope you guys thrash Seattle. We hate Seattle a lot. YEah, AR's huge contract is a BIG part of the problem IMO. You simply do not have the $ to pay enough top free agents and lets be honest....FA's may take a little less to play with AR, but they aren;t flocking to the cold of Wisconsin either. All that said, I think McCarthy is an average coach at this point. Still living off of his SB win.....kinda like Harbaugh. Marvin Lewis on the other hand.....definitely has donkey show pics of someone high up in the Bungle FO......I guess the question is to me, if the HC is average or better, is it a liability to have a great QB on a mega-contract? The Patriots are an outlier because Brady has regularly taken less for the team. How about the rest? Aaron Rodgers is undeniably great, but there are few other players on the Packers who are great. RW is on a depleted Hawks teams since their Super Bowl, and the team is 4-4 this year.
Do teams with a great QB have to have a GREAT GM who can find lower round gems in the draft?
