I strongly didagree a game changer is somebody that’s a threat to score anytime they touch the ball…. When I say game changer that’s what I mean!!!!
Puka and kupp are good recivers but not game changers imo

Ahem. See Puka Nacua’s 65+ yard touchdown against the Browns or his 70+ yard near touchdown against the Giants (where it took Adoree Jackson, one of the single fastest corners in the NFL, to push him out at the five) in his rookie year.

And as for Kupp? His 65+ yard touchdown run against the Saints (when Goff was still the QB), and multiple long touchdown runs where he was wide open with his route running, and his Triple Crown season alone shows otherwise. He may not be that much of a game-changer anymore, but he absolutely was in his prime.

Don’t give me that Nacua’s not a game-changer. Don’t give me that Kupp wasn’t.

I suppose that’s your opinion. But a game changer is literally someone who can change a game. Kupp proved he was just that in the SB and several other games and Nacua has done that in several games. Stafford is a game changer as well. Verse and Fiske have proved to be game changers.

I think there are probably a lot of versions as to what constitutes a “game changer”. But for me, it’s someone who can consistently produce and teams have to account for him.

Sorry but game changer means exactly that.
Having a wr who converts a 3rd down and can’t be stopped or turns a 5 yard gain in to a 30 yard gain is literally changing the game.
Aaron Donald was a game changer on the defensive side of the ball, was not a “threat to score a td at any time”

Let’s just agree that your definition of “game changer” is not well defined or consistent. I think what you are describing is an “offensive breakaway threat”.

I’d go so far as to say Kobie Turner is a game changer. Same amount of sacks that he had his rookie year, while providing elite-graded run defense from the 5-tech position.

Honestly, The Conductor might be the biggest unsung hero of our defense, and he should’ve fucking won the DRotY award over Will Anderson.

I submit as evidence a triple crown WR who makes clutch catches or jet sweeps on 4th and 1 in big games or a once in a lifetime DT who makes huge plays in the CCG and SB to seal the deal

So you only consider potential home run hitting offensive players as game changers? Not even possibly THE best defensive player in the history of the NFl crosses that bar? Wow. That's an interesting definition you have.
