So you only consider potential home run hitting offensive players as game changers? Not even possibly THE best defensive player in the history of the NFl crosses that bar? Wow. That's an interesting definition you have.
A guy that gets 10 catches 120 yards and 2 td with 6 of his catches first downs isn't a game changer if he does run a 4.3. A very narrow definition for surre.

We all know a guy can dominate a game and make the defense focus on him without that speed.

I said Aaron Donald, Ramsey and con miller…. And verse is becoming 1

Just admit that you’re not right. It’s okay to be wrong; it’s part of learning and growing as a person, and everyone is wrong at some point, including me.

It’s not going to kill you, and you continuing to die on this hill is not what I want. I know you’re capable of bringing so much more to the table than this. So just cut your losses here.
No doubt.
I was wrong that one time when I thought I was wrong... It was an opportunity for personal growth.

Hadn't checked this thread out in a while.... wish I had left it that way. Holy hot takes a plenty in here. Wow.

I’m somewhere in the middle of this debate as to the idea of “do we have enough game changers” on the team. I don’t believe we do but we’ll still roll out another “good” offense this year.

For me a game changer is obviously a player who can change the momentum of a game, but I also define it as a player who can take over a game. Not the same.
Huge plays and TD’s and essentially being unstoppable at times.

I’d also exclude QB’s from this particular debate. Stafford is elite as a passer, leader and the clutch factor. We got that. Check. Weapons. Elite weapons.

Kupp was elite in his prime a few years ago. IMO no one other than maybe Nacua is a game changer on this offense. I doubt we added any in the draft either.

On defense I can see Verse being that guy if he isn’t already. The dude took over games at times with his pressures and disruption. Meh. I’m not concerned over the defense this year though. IMO it will be the strength of the team.

Funny thing in this senseless "game changer" discussion it seemingly has ignored the guy for whom the thread is about.
Davante Adams is surely still the game changer he's been. On a terrible Jets team he proved unstoppable when the team actually played like they gave a shit. Against Jax he had catches of 23, 24, 41 and 72 yards. That's not a game changer?
Had he played the whole year with the Jets at his per game basis, he would have been around 1,400 yards and 10-12 TD
