The point about the Puka thing is simple. Doesn't matter how the ref reacts. Don't throw a punch. Period. You don't get ejected. You don't run the risk of injuring your hand on a helmet. Simple. And a learning lesson.
Pressure is any time a pass rusher affects the QB. So, it seems like any time a QB has to side step or a player just gets close to him, then that's a pressure. Pressure rate is number of pressures divided by number of pass plays.

So, if a player just gets close to a QB then that's a pressure. I couldn't find how close is close enough or what actually defines 'affecting the QBs play'.

Here is what I like about NFL Officials.

The defensive stop in OT was beautiful. When they started running it down the Rams throat, I told my son that they think they are going to do what Detroit did. It worked at first, but they don't have Detroit's offensive line.....plus the Rams defense is better than it was in that game.

This defensive line is legit!

Shula and McVay alike both need props for their half time adjustments. We were getting way more pressure on Geno in the 2nd half. Offensively, meh overall, but credit McVay for coming out and running.

The Puka ejection was awful, but glass half full, we won without him and he got a light week to hopefully heal up a bit with.

4-4 and ready to battle for the division lead!

Anyone get word on Hav? Or when Avila and Jackson are back? Going down 3/5 starters on o-line again will be a tough spot. We play on Monday, so an extra day to heal. But the Dolphins have Tua back now so I am really worried about them. Hill, Waddle, Beckham... exactly the type of offense this team will struggle to defend - speedy WRs that can burn our guys deep before the d-line has a chance to get home. You think Smith-Njigba was painful to watch burn these guys? Wait until Hill and Waddle are doing it.

Rozeboom with his best game of the year IMO.

Stafford clutch when we needed him most but I thought he was off most of the night. Not as off as Geno thankfully.

Robinson looks worlds better when he isn't WR1. A completely different player when in a depth role. Let's hope Kupp and Puka stay healthy because D-Drob is a deadly WR3, mix in Tutu/Johnson/Whittington, and it's a killer WR room when at full strength.

Hope Wallace is okay. I have actually liked this game. Tough loss.

Refs were awful.
Wait till Tua meets V-8 and Fiske. Hopefully Tua won't be carried out horizontally.
