Went from finding a way to lose to finding a way to win. That's what it takes.

So... Any guesses on if/who we bring in before the deadline?
Rozeboom from what I saw had a good game. But I’d still add an ILB. And 3rd time this year in division (Cards, 69ers, Squaks) that the Rams let a WR absolutely tear them a new asshole. Need to shore that up.

I'd make a run for Lattimore and let Speights settle in. From there if we can stay healthy (and maybe get JJ back at safety) I think we'd have a playoff caliber defense.

Yeah. I'd be in on Lattimore. I wonder what the collateral would be and if we could fit him under the cap. I have never pretended to be a cap guy.

I think I'd leave ILB alone unless we could get a swinging deal. We really need a lock down corner IMO.

I crack up when some say they knew how this was going to play out after it plays out.

This was a highly unpredictable game.

But I knew a rookie would set a Rams record for a pick 6.

I just didn't know which one but was pretty sure it wasn't going to be Verse or Fiske. Pretty sure. :laugh1:

I looked, and his base salary this year is only $1M. It jumps up next year. His cap number is big for the Saints, but that is due to bonus money already given to him. That wouldn't affect his cap number on another team.

So that would make him attractive and likley some contender would offer their #1.

I said it on X, and I'll say it here...

Rozeboom looks like a completely new guy next to Reeder. He's played really nice the last two weeks.

Perhaps he was trying to overcompensate for Reeders lack of play?

The Defensive Line and Matty Staff are the game ball winners IMO. The Special Teams must have just returned from the Special Olympics.

Really, if they have the same logic as they did a few years ago, in that let's go win now while we have Kupp & Stafford, I could see them going and getting Lattimore even giving up a #1.

He would be the missing link that could bring this defense from solid to potentially very good. Just look at how Durant got beat late in this game. That likley doesn't happen with Lattimore.

So if you know you have to beat Detroit, you need a shut down CB opposite of Williams to do so. It also deepens the secondary in case of injury.

This doesn't preclude you from giving up a 5th rd pick for LB help if you feel you still need it.
