I'd hate to see Spanos blunder into a top coach hire with no competition.

If Jim Harbaugh wants back in the NFL, the Chargers are a perfect fit IMHO. Now the Raiders could be in play because he would have an opportunity to draft J.J. McCarthy so if he likes the Las Vegas situation better, but I feel strongly the Chargers want to make a splash and they land a whale in Jim Harbaugh.
I figured Spanos would be too cheap to pay Harbaugh what he wants, but I guess not.

Well @den-the-coach has been predicting Harblaugh to Spanosville for a while now. I have been skeptical and resistant to the idea but starting to think that old bastid had it right.
57 years young & parents were married 11 months before I was born so the bastard part is close

My Prediction on once the dust settles and if there are not anymore firings.

  1. Washington Commodes....Ben Johnson, they will draft their young QB and Johnson will feel good about this organization.
  2. Los Angeles Chargers....Jim Harbaugh, in the end, Chargers need Harbaugh and Harbaugh will like Herbert.
  3. Las Vegas Raiders...Antonio Pierce...Mark Davis made a mistake not keeping his interim Head Coach a couple of years ago, he will stay the course with Pierce.
  4. Atlanta Falcons...Bill Belichick, big name and Arthur Blank is not getting any younger. Josh McDaniels will join him in Atlanta and the Falcons will acquire Justin Fields as Fields returns on the Midnight train to Georgia.
  5. Tennessee Titans...Bobby Slowick...Titans GM Ran Carthon cam from San Francisco and so did Slowick. Slowick did a great job with Stroud and now will tutor Will Levis.
  6. Carolina Panthers...Brian Callahan, Callahan best OC left standing and will bring his Dad with him to Carolina, which will give owner David Tepper something.
  7. Seattle Seahawks...Dan Quinn, they might want an offensive coach, but Dan Quinn makes too much sense here and I feel, Quinn with have somebody in mind for his OC that will seal the deal.

Playing devils advocate and still think Harbaugh won’t go back to NFL but…

Imagine Jerruh cans McCarthy and he makes an all in bid for Harbaugh? I could see that happening now anyway. Seems Jerruh has been humbled by 3 decades of choking.

It’s still early. Doesn’t Michigan have a 12.5 million a year offer on the table?

I don’t think Belichick would be excited about a running QB

That makes a lot of sense. Plus Jerruh has the money to get it done. I think the Cowboys franchise would have a lot of appeal for Harbaugh.

Can’t see it - too many egos in Dallas. Harb would want too much control - that’s not available.

Exactly! It really does.. I don’t see Belicheat and Jerruh getting along.

Maybe Harbaugh and get one of those QB’s and trade Dak.

Yeah Dallas job will be open any minute now :D
Did you see Jerry's post game interview? He looks horrible, I am sure this game took some life out of him. This would be a great Sportsbook short term bet.

I think you are correct sir.
Jerruh would never give up his GM role to Bellicheat. Bellicheat and another owner who would cheat to win, but I think Bellicheat’s ego gets in the way.
