Eberflus is safe though I'd can him and start new with a new QB taken #1. This tells me they'll be bad and won't take a QB then a new HC will go into his 2nd year and have to start over at QB with somebody who might not be as good and a year later will be fired and the team will be cycling coaches with a rookie QB and ruin another player. But hey it's the Bears.

Shocked they didn’t fire the Equipment Manager. Between him and the Asst TE coach, screwing things up royally [\blue font].

Agreed. Late season momentum can be very misleading. I'd throw him out on his ass. Guy strikes me as a consensus seeking dipshit type who will butter up the Bears owner and stick around way too long torturing fans.

Top pick is great for clean breaks.

It's looking like there may not be as many openings as some had speculated.

Right now? Looks like Morris is back in 24.. unless no one wants the Panthers job and he decides it's worth the risk (and is offered it, of course).

A lot depends on Belichick... if he's fired, he gets another job if he wants one. Lots of speculation he'd be in Atlanta.

Will be an interesting few weeks.
I think Morris is actually gonna get hired. He did an impressive job of scheming this young defense this year and I think as long as we win one playoff game, which is very possible, he's getting hired. I can see the attraction being that he worked with some really low draft picks and made it work as a huge plus to many owners.

What is it, 9 job openings now. I think his chances are pretty good. Call it 60/40 hired this cycle.

Rah has earned a HC position for sure, but we've gotta hold some kind of record for being poached during the McVay era.

You forgot MacDonald. He's gonna get a job for sure. MacDonald, Slowik, and Johnson are the likely hot coordinator hires. Callahan might swing one too.

Raheem fits with the teams that are willing to consider DC background. So his competition is Vrabel.

Belicheat goes to the top of the list for any job he might want, which is to say whatever owner he trusts. But I suspect he may retire.

Numbers do seem favorable for Raheem. Hope he's got a top-notch staff picked out.

Oh dammit, you're right, he's definitely getting a job.

If feels like 25-33% of the league has a head coach vacancy. Crazy. The poster that said it previously is correct IMO - if Morris does not get a HC gig this off-season, he likely never will.

If Raheem goes, I think Mike Vrabel would be a possible and nice replacement!

Yeah ... 8 openings (one filled in New England) out of 32 teams ... that's exactly 25%.

I'm also good with multiplication but struggle with fractions.
