Amy Lee was indeed a great pick....

another good one for my tastes...I like the sound and range of Sarah McGlaughlin....

I know it's really not THAT topical ,but I ran a light show for this lady back when this song was #1

First name I thought of when I saw this thread. Hauntingly amazing voice.

Oh ... and what do you call a thousand dykes with rifles?

My wife and I saw Celine at Ceasars Palace in Vegas on our 20 wedding anniversary and she was amazing along with dancers, it was and is the most amazing show I have ever seen. So Celine is my choice currently.

My favorite Crow tune by a mile. One of the better live vocal efforts on this tune i think. There are others though.... might post another. This tune had a different vibe every time live, but always close and strong IMO.
She had a good band too.

I think i cant get into Janis for the same reason that the other half don't get Hendrix.
It is what it is i guess... i still give props to an icon though. 8-)

Stevie Nicks' beautiful live voice had begun to deteriorate by the mid 80's IMO but early on she had the voice of an angel.

This clip sounds to me like she'd might of had one too many pina colada's, LOL...but Lindsay and the band just let her go and she brought it so beautifully to a point where the band cut her off brilliantly. Such an angelic tone to her voice before she started singing like she was 30 going on 50 yrs old.

Amandine Ferrari. Her work with Eden House is outstanding; the track "Sin" is especially good.

Wow, amazing list. Billie Holliday to Janis Joplin to Pat Benitar to modern singers. Amazing list of singers.
