..............or, once the QBs start going down, he can be trade bait (as a backup to the backup who takes over for whatever team suffers a QB injury). I'm not suggesting that's what's going to happen. Simply saying, that's certainly an option. Plus it would be attractive (should he prove capable) if for no other reason than 3 years of control.

We fans don't deserve to know anything when it comes to players personal lives (outside of arrests and crimes committed) . The kid has a problem of some sort. We deserve to know? If he's gay? If he's got substance abuse issues? If he's kinky? If he's into older women (or younger)? If he's Republican, Democrat or Independent? If he's a bigot? No, we don't need to know any of that stuff. That's all his business. All we need to know is can he play and can he be an asset to the team.

I mostly agree but ... and tell the truth now ... you want to know if he's a little 'Kinky'.

If for not other reason, it would be nice for @Loyal to have someone he could hang-out-with.

Good to hear it. Doubt he's ready to push Jimmy for QB2 but the extra competition is great and maybe he can win a role as a scout team QB for us this season. Wish him the best this year in camp.

It might not be a bad idea having him on the practice squad to see if he develops. Seriously doubt any team would sign him.

Wishing him the best of luck! Jimmy G signing in L.A. means Bennett is all but certain to be a practice squad player. Jimmy G is a proven winner and fringe starter. Bennett is not at that level. Maybe some day.

If he feels like sharing what he went through can be helpful to someone that may have a similar situation, then by all means share it with us. If he doesn't think anyone will benefit from his experience then he can keep it within the team.
 
Good luck to him. I'm not expecting much, but I hope he's okay after all that happened to him last year.

And if he wants to tell what happened, that's fine. If he doesn't, that's fine as well. He doesn't owe us anything for a private matter, much like we wouldn't owe everyone anything about our own private lives.

I agree. I hope for the best with him, but with us having 11 picks, I think it's likely we'll draft a QB.

With Jimmy G. being suspended the first two games the Rams will need Stetson to be available.
