I like the fact that Hunter has the speed to take it home, power to run through you, and the twitch to break your ankles if needed. Love KW, but his ball security issues are statistically not an issue with Hunter.
Trade KW while he's got great value.
It appears that Snead Dog will probably fill the CB, LB and maybe the OT cupboards in the 6th and 7th rounds, and some UDFA's ........... as usual.

The Rams loved Hunter and of course Les Snead is an Auburn Alum. Historically, after HOF Kevin Greene the school has not been good to our beloved Los Angeles Rams, with the likes of Greg Robinson, Tre Mason, Wayne Gandy, James Bostic and Brian Smith.

Agreed. There is plenty of mid round capital in that room but so far the returns on investment are impressive. I wish we could say the same for OT

As for LB, there’s been NO investment bar one pick (now leading a rising defense, in our division, against us) and it has without doubt hurt us over the last few seasons. I’m already looking at other teams rosters wondering if a plus vet on a relatively high contract might shake free. That could help us massively

I feel better at CB after we picked up a 1st round pick for free who fits our scheme based on his college film

LB and OT could sink us with an injury

I remember thinking Brian Smith was going to be a stud. Those drafts in late 80's were so dissapointing. Set the stage for the 90's misery.

You could well be right.
Me saying he may displace the 2 spot from Corum is not a slam ore me disliking Corum. He just offers something, potentially, that Williams, Corum and Rivers do not.

I think the mantra of only resigning a RB if they are special should apply. Kyren is good not special. Let him hit FA and get us a comp pick. I have faith in Corum and Hunter to be just fine back there.

Said one scout: “He loves football. Had an episode and was on suspension for several months during the summer. That may push him down a round. Fourth would be the earliest. Jarquez is a tough runner. He’s sort of compact. Can catch the ball pretty well. He’d be a good little piece for somebody.”

Shit. Tre Mason comparison might be a little too apt. Hope his mental health is under control; I know from personal experience that it’s hard.
