Could see Young and Corum as part of a trade just not sure how much else the Rams would give up. Have to keep something for a QB next year. Say Atlants first and a couple 2nd and 3rd round picks?
I was thinking the same thing. Dallas has a big hole at RB. And we seem to have a bit of a surplus.

McVay seems to have been working hard to ensure that the offense plays on schedule, need two RBs a game to do that and three in case someone gets hurt. I think McVay's perogative right now is to have three good RBs.

Snead has done an incredible job filling the roster with quality depth. Not sure I’ve seen that done for any team so comprehensively before.

It probably helps McVay has created a place players want to be.

Just saw this on Yardbarker, the Instagram pic of Micah in Rams colors does have a nice look to it, and would have great look if it brought Donald out of retirement. We could win the Super Bowl even with Jimmy at QB. Would be the greatest defense since the '85 Bears
Caveats: I still don't think Dallas will trade him and I don't believe we'd be interested because we need our draft capital for a future QB.

But this is intriguing and fun to think about. AD + Parsons + Verse + the rest of our Dl would be the best pass rush of all time. I think we could rival or surpass the '85 Bears D.

But I doubt we can get him for less than two 1sts. Something like Atl '26 1st and our '27 1st could be the foundation of a trade.

The Niners have made almost 30 roster moves since the opening of camp the 3rd week of July.
Thirty signings and/or releases before their first pre-season game.

The Rams have made Zero over the same period of time.

I think that suggests the 49ers lack roster-depth at a number of positions.
Their schedule is going to save them. Legit one of the easiest schedules of the last 3-4 seasons. It’s insane.

Best Owner-GM-Coach trio in all of professional sports. We are SO fortunate!

Well ... as far as the opponents, it's identical to the Rams schedule ... with three ... Significant ... exceptions.

As the 2024 First Place team in their division, the Rams play the three First Place teams from the AFC North, NFC East and NFC North ... Baltimore, Philadelphia and Detroit.

As the 2024 Last Place team in the same division as the Rams, the Niners play the three Last Place teams from the same three divisions ... Cleveland, NY Giants and Chicago.

The other 14 opponents are identical.

Agree that there is a Big Difference between the three UN-common opponents.

Sounds like Jerruh gonna play hardball.

As it turns out, that smelling salt ban wasn't a ban at all, which is a good thing because a ban might have devastated the Rams' QB room:

Yes, it's all about bring your own smelling salts, now.

A cynic might say that this was never about player safety. Rather it was about one or more smelling salt companies not willing to pay the NFL an exorbitant sum of money to get that "official supplier" label or that "partner" label or whatever magic endorsement words they use.

Reading deeper in the NFLPA memo, I see the Niners are no longer permitted to supply their players with Butt Plugs. From here forward in San Francisco it’s BYOBP as the policy.
