I’ll pretty much watch anything with Cloris Leechman (sp?) in it. She was great in that one.

And then there’s this.

ooooohhh.... Line of Duty.
Do yourselves a favor, ROD: watch this show. Find it on Netflix or Acorn. The most amazing police procedural drama you'll ever see.
It's Irish, so ya turn on the CC lol.
Just finished season three. Holy shit!

I was like, ok, I'll try it. First 10 seconds I was like "I ain't watching this". But I hung in there and season one was fairly good. Season two kicked ass. And, season three, like I just mentioned...holy shit!

I can't imagine seasons 4 & 5 & 6 getting any better.

And yeah, totally had to go the closed caption route (lol). I guess they're speaking English, but damn. Bloke, boot, loo, copper, bent, etc. I'm almost fluent Irish now...lol.

Really liked the Danny Waldron character too!

Me too...!
You want another one? :-]
Here's another of our top 5 TV shows of all time: The Bureau. There's a scene in, I think, season 3 that is the most gripping scene I've ever .... seen. Like, I'm literally gripping my seat wondering how this girl is gonna get out of a terrifying jam (no spoilers).
As for our other top TV shows, Sherlock (BBC, with Benedict Cumberbatch) is top 5, but I'm sure you've all seen this series? ... wait, you haven't? whoa, what, you live under a rock or somthin?? some of the best acting you'll see on TV, and completely entertaining. It's edgy, set in modern times, very well done, and their take on Dr. Moriarty was ...genius. Do yourself a favor & binge this.
I won't belabor the rest (not in this thread lol), but thought I'd share a few from our personal list whilst we wait on some actual football to happen.

So sad. I actually saw Irsay working the Pro Shop pregame in 2013 just to say hi to the fans.

Interesting note: Indianapolis is one of the few places you can drink in public on Sundays. We walked to the stadium and police confirmed public drinking is fair hand since Indianapolis hosted the Superbowl in 2012.
He always struck me as the type of dude a blue collar type could have a good conversation with at the bar. That's not true for most of these owners. So I always sort of liked him, even though I don't know much about him or his run ins with alcohol or whatever.

Death sucks. Such a drag.

That's brutal for their oline and really bad timing. But sounds like he tried but his body just wasn't doing good after several injuries he's had recently. Not sure how their depth is... will the Lions get the "pressure up the middle" Goff show this season? Honestly would be comical with how some Lions fans have been lately.

Wouldn't be shocked to see Tate Rutlidge in at center. Very talented and fits their physical profile.

Pressure up the middle is devestating these days for QBs but good call on PUM for Goff. It's absolutely horrible for him with such back pocket presence and escapability.
