We had to score a TD and XP, the Eagles missed XP and our Safety was huge. Brady only needed Vinatieri numerous times I lost count. :quiet:

I agree with all of that.

And yet, with Hurts and Siriani at the helm, I still take the Rams over them. Again, not all parts of a team are weighted equally. We are better where it matters most with some pretty nice players ourselves, and really should have won tonight.

Balitmore? Buffalo? Kansas City? Those are all truly dangerous roster IMO. Competent coaching staff with difference making QBs.

I believe it the weather conditions had not been the snow field advantage, the Rams would have won this game but they earned that home field. Hopefully the Rams have it next season.

No vent, just a great year that ended too soon.

On that Washington bandwagon now. :clinkingbeer:

Can't win if you give up three long TDs like that.
Sure you can. The Rams were a play away from winning.

But.. turnovers give the other team more chances to score.. increasing the likelihood that they will.

If the ball bounced different on just one of the four fumbles in the game, who knows what happens?

Was the hold on 4th down blatant? Mcvay at the presser seemed pretty steamed and then said "I won't comment on what I think happened on 4th down".

I haven't seen video footage to confirm it was blatant. I saw the aftermath of it i think but not the actual hold.

Eagles were the better roster. Rams ran them to the wire with smoke and mirrors, and could have won this game had Stafford handed the fucking ball off properly in the redzone, Williams had prioritized ball security, Dotson hadn't false started, Limmer had blocked the biggest threat on the fucking Eagles DL, and so on and so forth.

McVay and the staff did a fantastic job this year. The players did too. They just didn't execute the way they had to in order to knock this Eagles team off.
This is a pretty level-headed and thorough reflection on the differences in this game.

I doubt it will help anyone else. I decided to watch Terrifier 3 for the fourth time since release right MEOW and buy tickets to see Myles Kennedy (Alter Bridge, MK and the Conspirators with Slash and solo career tour) for February 14 at a venue that holds around 500 down the street. Rams and ROD ENJOYED a stellar season. I appreciate all. Rock the fuck on! :horns:

For any fans it's the 'Art of Letting Go' tour. No pun intended.

Did I hear a meow in there?

I think Puka got held, but there were no replays shown. Amazing how many plays had the iggles DB's hitting our receivers before the ball got there and not a single call went our way. In the first half, I counted 4-5 times that an Iggles LB lined up in the neutral zone and not a single call.

Not saying the refs cost us the game, but they sure made our hill steeper.

I see people just hammering Rozeboom.. Look, I'm not saying he's great.. but, perspective and fairness, guys.
That last Saquon run was opened up when Verse crashed inside instead of holding his gap. Why aren't we being real about this?

Rozeboom is decent but his position should be upgraded.

barkley's last TD run, Tyler Davis? (#90) was blatantly held and barkley slipped through that hole because of the holding. If not he's met at the LOS for no gain or a short gain.

Sure.. and.. please go watch it.. Verse abandons his post. He's done it before.. in the first matchup and allowed Jalen to leak.
I'm not banging on him, it was one bad play.. but Verse is the Rams player who messed up on that play, from what I'm looking at. And I just watched it again.

Ok, you might be right but there was still holding which would have been a 10 yard penalty instead of a TD.

Ok I saw a video on why McVay was pissed. An Iggles D lineman tackled Stafford and while there was no helmet to helmet, he tackled Stafford and landed on him with his full weight. Mahomes, Purdy, Allen, pretty much any QB would have gotten that call but not Stafford.

Ahh, no wonder he made that comment after talking about Stafford.

Ok, I just went back and had a look multiple times.

No hold. If the rams got flagged for that i would've gone apeshit.

I'm iffy on the full body weight thing. It didn't show the tackle to the ground but from what I saw Carter(?) had taken a side position on Stafford.

I guess when people start showing the head on view during analysis we'll know for sure.

But Limmer getting blown away by the same move 2 downs in a row, fuck me.
