Ok, I just went back and had a look multiple times.

No hold. If the rams got flagged for that i would've gone apeshit.

I'm iffy on the full body weight thing. It didn't show the tackle to the ground but from what I saw Carter(?) had taken a side position on Stafford.

I guess when people start showing the head on view during analysis we'll know for sure.

But Limmer getting blown away by the same move 2 downs in a row, fuck me.

.

But it explains why the iggles players didn't celebrate on that incomplete pass. I still think that was holding based on what I've seen called against the Rams. It was just enough to allow barkley to break through that gap.

Then Limmer gave them two gifts. The first one, ok, he got schooled. The second time, C'mon man.

.
Yeah but the offense left a lot on the field. That redzone fumble by Stafford cost us 4 points, would mean a FG wins it at the end. Kyren fumble. Dropped passes. Whiffs across the OL. The false start by Dotson. Etc.

Really the Kyren fumble mindfucked them hardest because we were running it down their throats. They were getting bullied and it let them off the rope.

Oh well. We knew this team wasn't likely to run the table.

.

Ok. I looked at the Barkley td run. Definite blatant hold. You can see the jersey tug.

Then you have worthless telling us how great a block it was.

It just burns me up after having to go through stuff like the holding call after the Gurley superbowl run for 20 yards. Perfect blocking and the rams lose 30 yards and any chance on the drive.

I hate the nfl so much but yet love the nfl so much.

.

I have no rebuttals or refutes to @kurtfaulk @Londoner. I get it, we all do. I would be fired from my job instantly. As she goes.....but I know one thing I've got to do, for now I smell the rain and with it pain, gonna RAMble on, sing our song. Got no more time for spreading roots this season anymore. We'll be back next season and let it FUCKING growwwwwwwww once more under McVay.

Nothing about the Rams to vent about. But that hold by Jurgens to set up the last Barkley run?

That HAD to be called and if you would have had any other announcing team they would have called it out. Yuk yuk Collingsworth was too busy gushing over Barkley to mention it. But it was one of the most obvious holds you'll ever see and it clearly stopped the defender from filling the gap.

I'm not saying the Rams would have won and they still had their chance but you HAVE to make that call...even if you aren't calling penalties on either team(3 each). I get "let them play" but that was egregious.

Anyway, that's my only vent. Love this team, love the season they put together. Very proud of them and somehow excited about this young defense.

The KW fumble was the key moment in the game. Had we scored that drive we would have been up and we could have run the ball and played defense to keep the lead.

That fumble changed the momentum of the game and all of a sudden we are down by two scores.

The point swing, and the momentum swing of that one play...

And, that fumble was on KW not protecting the ball. Had nothing to do with the weather. It was punched out. He could have been holding it with two hands while he was running in the middle of the field with the DL closing in on him from the sides and before he got to the second/third level, but he didn`t. This was a bad fumble.

We have to move on from a RB who is a constant fumble risk.

We should have run the offense through Kupp.

Without looking at the stats he was 2 for 2. Both ridiculously hard catches. (EDIT: Come to think of it I think he dropped a quick out that would have been a first down on a third down... oh man...)

The conditions didnt seem to bother him like it did the rest of the WR corps.

I could be wrong. What do you guys think?

I want to know what happened on the Limmer play? Obviously, we should have replaced him with that Detroit guy who we are paying millions to... but that is really hindsight. Its tough when a rookie looks like a rookie - all of a sudden. That said, Philly had probably been setting that stunt up all game...

What the frick was Rozeboom doing on that last Barkley run.

There were already 3 Rams at that spot and if he went outside he could have stopped Barkley but no he just runs into the pile and lets Barkley have a free run to the outside. Plus Speights was also already in position to take Barkley if he went up the middle.

That was just a horrible read by Rozeboom on that play.

We really need another ILB who can read plays better.

Kupp doesn’t get open the way he used to. One of his two catches he was draped in coverage.

I was watching some 2021 highlights the other day, and he just looks like a different player. Doesn’t have the burst or wiggle he had back then.

Verse and Roseboom both crashed inside on that.

One draft solution is Jihad Campbell of Alabama. Considered a late 1st early 2nd. In the mold of a Ravens LB. Inside thumper playmaker. Very quick, ability to play edge. So a versatile player. Would give them a special talent at LB to pair with Speights.

Man on that last drive I pictured 29-28 Rams like McVay had mentioned. I really believed. The Philly defense was gassed. We were going in for the kill after the game looked out of hand. Many ROD posters had given up down by 2 scores late.

3rd and 2 we had em on the ropes. And then the Dotson penalty. Ugh! And then the Rams OL couldn't contain their D on the sack and the 4th down incomplete pass was a tremendous letdown.

Lots of blame to go around. We couldn't keep Jones but what if we resigned Wagner that Barkley shit doesn't happen. The fumbles omg we were concerned about them handling a slippery ball and the nightmare came true. 2 Philly fumbles bounced their way and so did the 2 Ram fumbles.

But that last minute where we had that whole stadium nervous because we were going to win, and Stafford would add to his legacy of comebacks, and we would have the NFC Champ game at home the next week, all fluttered to the ground on that incomplete pass. I sat there in total shock at a game that had slipped away.

They didnt need to trade Jones for a bag of cotton balls and they cut Wagner after 1 year in auspicious fashion
Alas, Philly busted the Rams D again, wasnt 1 player

I basically feel the same.

It’s a great game, ruined by the refs and the league’s agendas.
Not even LA burning to the ground could get us a call to go our way on the final drive.

And trust me, I don’t want any bs calls to go in our favor, I want us to win without any asterisks.

Having said that, I resent that Mahomes would’ve most likely gotten a roughing the passer call on that 4th down, or a defensive holding call. Whatever.
