That doesn't include the rookies. Current salary listed at $142.565M it shows the rookies then but in that chart above it still lists the currently signed players. The rookies will be $12.5M or for top 51 less at $8.8M. More restructures or cuts are still to come though when it matters we'll count 53 and the PS.

There are some really good free agents available without effecting the comp formula. And the trade market. But with tutu and Jefferson I'd bring in a Landry type or an upside guy like Cephus.
That said plenty of corners Yannick and a few others out there Lionardis next to AD solid but really I'm still eying o-line dudes and not only are there a few like Risner and I believe Wynn but garret Bolles still supposedly available. This team using the draft to reinforce this year opening cap for future having future cash and picks and this can actually be a remodel if there is a phase 2 to this off-season. Adding some fringe players and many good ones available no reason why we can't be on the thick of it.
My guess is only if they would be in the plans for 2024 and beyond. No one year or depth FAs this year. They are Flooding the field with cheap, young talent in 2023. My guess is they may pursue trade(s) for player(s) before the trade deadline but will hold off on signing any other FAs for now.

There are a few really good free agents that would probably come cheap and may be able to be a part of future plans. That said I'm ok with 1 year contracts if it's for a position of weakness that we don't have young talent or can mentor young talent but options remain.

I'll always love Brock but he just doesn't do the work vs the run. Guys we drafted will do better there.

No idea really who's out there and available. But we don't need a starting 1T who can penetrate on pass downs. Just an early down run stuffer for when we're getting pushed around.

I agree with the latter, but I still say that Brockers was one of our best defensive tackles against the run in recent years. Unfortunately, I honestly don't see any nose tackles who haven't been drafted or signed as UDFAs, and I think they're going to give BB3 every opportunity to start. Same with Rochell in the secondary. That's why I think that they're going to be solid starters; it's taken a while for them to be starters, but I bet they're good when we need them to be.

Shakel Brown, NT (Troy)
6-4/299 lbs.
was he drafted? I figured he might go in the 7th or UDFA.
He is a definite run stuffer. I know it’s quite a leap from Troy to the NFL, but the price is right. Why not give him a look?
