So the 2023 season is the year to pick up that golf hobby, hike the Appalachian Trail or renovate the house. Then come back for a 2024 FA/Draft that will be the most exciting since the GSOT days (or maybe ever)!!
It’s all about 2024 bahhhyyybbeeee!!

Even though we should be "happy" winning the SB two years ago.

Us fans deserve better and this is quite frankly embarrassing and unacceptable. There's NO way you can rebuild the roster up in 2 years with late round picks and cheap vets.
Agree it will be tough to rebuild quickly with lower round picks and cheap vets. That formula only works when you start with a core of really good players who can carry you.

Rams are banking on a dramatically different cap situation next year to sign more difference makers. And maybe on some higher draft picks. But they will still need to find a bunch of starters and hit some home runs in the draft. Meanwhile AD, Kupp and Stafford aren't getting any younger.

Well, that core of really good players has to be Stafford, Kupp, and Donald. Throw in Havenstein, Higbee, Akers, and maybe Robinson/Jefferson as guys who have to step up and or stay healthy to add to that core.

In the end it comes down to improving OL play with additions and or health or both, and thus keeping Stafford upright and opening holes for Akers.

If they can do that they will be a 9-10 win type team. If the D improves by finding a few players, then who knows how much better they can be.

I think post draft they will become active in FA with some cheap 1 yr deals for some defensive vets that they can plug in to fill some holes. Maybe John Johnson, Melvin Ingram, etc..

I'm anticipating a very poor year, record-wise, this year and likely next. For me, the SB win was worth it so long as the current group of Snead, McVay, Demoff, etc. are in it for the long-haul. I'm just that confident in those guys (and Stan's backing) that we'll be back at championship-caliber soon thereafter.

Whatever you say Florio.
You'll always have us, Merlin! GO LA Lions!

Rams Worked Out LS Tyler Ott

According to Aaron Wilson, the Rams hosted veteran LS Tyler Ott for a workout on Tuesday.

Ott, 31, originally signed on with the Patriots as an undrafted free agent out of Harvard back in 2014. He lasted just over a year in New England before catching with the Rams for a brief stint and later with the Giants.

He caught on with the Bengals’ practice squad in 2016 and with the Seahawks in 2017. He re-signed two consecutive one-year deals as an exclusive rights free agent with Seattle before signing a three-year extension through 2022.

In 2021, Ott appeared in all 17 games for the Seahawks.

Playoffs here we come!!!

I saw the Ott / Rams work out, and was going to post but see that @CGI_Ram already has done so.

It makes me a little sad that I had a moment of excitement about my favorite team working out a long snapper that didn’t even play last season.

Man, this has been a tough offseason, following a brutal regular season.

Veteran Long Snapper would be a plus with a rookie Kicker Punter. Ott was a pro bowler in 2020. Again, I'm sure it will come down to money & cap room as everything has this year.
