Power back from what I remember not much of a make em miss or shake n bake dude.

From tonight's Athletic article:

"• Receiver Ben Skowronek had a couple of drops over the last few days, but put together a nice practice Friday."

I will agree with that but I would rather keep Perkins than Wolford if it came down to the two of them
Rams know that if Stafford goes down, all they can hope for is a placeholder and a 500 record until he is back.
without Stafford in the playoffs, Rams go nowhere.

with a top heavy (high cost) core, Rams can’t afford to spend on a backup.

I mean shaking tackles as in shaking off tackles; Ragas led the NCAA in yards after contact, according to various sources, and he was good against a tough Alabama squad.

I'm glad we picked him up; honestly, I think he could supplant Funk on the roster (or Henderson, if Henderson is dealt).

shake n bake = making people miss
Yes yards after contact is more a power back thing he would run over people instead of making them dive to empty turf trying to tackle him. It's not an insult just a different type of back. I don't think the guy he replaced had a shot barring injuries at the roster so we'll see with him.
