I'm keeping my fingers crossed that we sign QB Troy Williams out of Utah. I know we're interested in him.... we need to do that.

** well...I see he signed with Seattle.... Good luck to a great young man

Tegray Scales...... I like that ...

we've compiling a nice group of linebackers going into camp....and I believe the Austin trade...and maybe something with Barron could open us up to still sign a vet..maybe like Navarro Bowman

Give up on the idea of Mark Barron being cut. For some reason McVay really likes him. Plus he's the only returning starting linebacker, so it would be unwise in my opinion to cut ties just yet. But after this upcoming season we can continue our conversation.

I wouldn't say cut Barron and just roll with the current guys you have... I'm saying if cutting Barron would allow you some money to make an upgrade over what stands to be a starting inside linebacker tandem of Corey Littleton and Mark Barron... i'm saying that if we can upgrade on that by moving on from Barron..that's something we should do.

Unless a really good LB is surprisingly cut, I don't see anyone being an upgrade on Barron. Barron with a real thumper next to him should shine in this defense. We needed to get rid of one of the two, and we chose to trade Ogletree.
