Why are we not making a run at Jarvis Landry?

You know us LA guys are free thinkers...LOLOLOL

Landry....hmmmmm...I'll say this....I was watching LSU a few years ago...Landry and Odell were out there...and one game they were both tearing it up...I commented on a board...to 3K...and I said both of those LSU guys were pretty damn good and we could use either one....
Then
that 40 time tho.....ahahahaahahaahahahaah

Guy can play....but no need...we have a bunch of his type. Lets continue to work on our own.

I seriously don't know which position I would add on this team right now....
QB - Wentz - just kidding

Tom Brady's Most Dangerous Game

A lot of writers and politicians too.

The guy who did Fresh Prince of Belair graduated two years ahead of me, his Hollywood resume is pretty impressive.

Also the guy who wrote Saved by the Bell supposedly was using that school as an inspiration but I have no idea if it's true or who he was.
Oh yeah. Well I SEE your Fresh Prince, and Saved By the Bell and I RAISE you with our David Barsocchini, creator of Disney's High School Musical, and NY Times Executive Editor Bill Keller, and my buddy I graduated with, Fox news' Greg Gutfeld.

Here is a link. Paul Newman, the band Levert, and plenty of other names you will know are on the list. It's an interesting topic I hope others weigh in.

You got me with Newman. The only actor I could play really was Michael Trucco.

Although we have the drummer from Santana to play against your Levert guys. Is that a push?

Greg Zeurlein NFC Player of the Month

Greg: "Move over, roomie! There's a new special teams Sheriff in town!!!"

Johnny: "One fluke month and it's gone to your head already!?! You still got quite a ways before you can even pretend to match my accomplishments."

Greg: "I'm just getting warmed up, Big Fella! A few more months like this and it will be 'Pro Bowl, here I come!'"

Johnny: "Hhmmm. That's actually possible. And the way how Aaron and Todd is playing, they may be returning as well. Who knows how many new Horns might be coming to the PB this season? We might have to charter a Horns jet."

Greg: "If both of us get in, we really ought to lobby for Jake. Is there a better long snapper in the entire league?"

Johnny: "Definitely will need that chartered jet. Maybe Stan will hook us up!"

Easy Poll Question!? Maybe!

Here is the origin explained. From Wiki:

The term "Greatest Show on Turf" was not used to describe the Rams offense until several weeks into the 2000 season; initially the nickname for the Rams offense had been "The Warner Brothers", a play on the movie studio and a reference to new quarterback Kurt Warner, who'd assumed leadership from center after slated starter Trent Green was injured against San Diego in the preseason, and his receivers. The first appearance of the term came when ESPN's Chris Berman, preparing to cover highlights of a 57-31 win over the San Diego Chargers that year, said to television audiences, "Forget Ringling Brothers; the Rams are the Greatest Show on Earth." Over the following weeks, "Earth" was replaced with "Turf" to signify the artificial playing surface of the Trans World Dome and how it magnified and enhanced the Rams' already speedy offense. The term was retroactively applied to the 1999 team, as the offensive philosophy and key players were the same.

Rams injuries going into the bye

When Sullivan went down, I said, "if there was one position we can take a hit on that OL, it's at center."

When it comes to injuries, this has got to be the luckiest the Rams have been in a while. Webster was hurt early so he is only getting better week to week. Joyner has returned to the starting lineup. And even though Donald wasn't an injury, his missing camp and slowly acclimating himself to the new defense and the players around him, basically mimicked an injury absence.

For once, the Rams are getting some breaks.

I think there is more to it than just luck. McVay works closely with Reggie and has a feel for his players health.. In game injuries caused by other players? Yeah that is a bit of luck.

Dolphins trade Jay Ajayi to Eagles

Gase didn’t directly answer when asked whether the Ajayi trade was designed to send a message. “I don’t know,” he said. “That’s something you would have to ask those guys.”

What disappointed Gase most about Ajayi’s 21/2 seasons with the team?

“We’ve had ups and downs, but that [happens with] a lot of players,” Gase said. “It’s just [about] getting on the same page and sharing the same philosophy of how we want to do things. I think he tried to do what we were asking him to do a majority of the time. He had a lot of really positive games. It was just time for probably us to go separate ways.”

Asked if the Dolphins are better off now than they were with Ajayi, Gase said: “I like where we’re at right now.”
I like Gase....was mad we didn't get a shot at him while Fish was here....he's done pretty well after losing his QB...
But
If he thinks whatever he's doing is sustainable...he better think again. Players HATE losing guys that can help them win....Ajayi had three 200 yard games....you can't just replace that type of production. You can't...don't care who you have on the team now...they can't do that either...They better draft one just like that or...

I see a mutiny in 2018...if Gase has this team so...so...just watch out...if they start losing this year...watch how 2018 begins...

It's not Ajayi that has the offense looking like shit...it's the line...followed by the crappy QB play...dudes see what Cutler does...but Gase isn't trying to trade him....the QB that played the other day, Moore...was AWFUL!!!

Duane Brown to Seahawks

Seahawks cut Isaiah Battle
Posted by Charean Williams on November 1, 2017

The Seahawks waived offensive tackle Isaiah Battle to make room for new left tackle Duane Brown. Battle did not play in his seven games with the team.

Battle entered the league as a fifth-round supplemental pick of the Rams in 2015. Seattle obtained him in a trade with the Chiefs on Sept. 2, giving up a conditional 2018 seventh-round choice.

Carson Palmer broke arm

You think those costumes are bad, wait until he has to dress up like an Arizona Cardinal....
Talk about EMBARASSING

McVay appearing on FOX NFL Pregame?

I just remembered this...

When they asked McVay about the one thing he was not prepared for, he answered that it was all the outside football commitments and obligations.

I worried about his ability to juggle all that... so far, he's done a great job.

But, I see it as becoming more difficult now that the Rams are getting a lot more media attention.

Just saw a thread where he appeared on Coast-to-Coast...

The obligations are mounting... if the Rams continue to succeed, how wil he respond?

He could go all Bellichick on them... but doesn't seem to be his style. He may be forced to have to choose how many of these appearances he can actually manage.

Another facet of his learning curve... like I said, so far, he's done admirably but this one couild prove to be a real challenge.
