Of course they exist. If the starter gets hurt, the backup plays and they sign a jag who plays on a pro rated salary. If you’re playing your 3rd string qb for any amount of time your season is shotSo injuries don't exist?
Besides, after 4 years the backup is a free agent and gets expensive. If you maintain a pipeline you have a guy hopefully ready to step in as backup. No pipeline, you either have to count on a rookie as backup, meaning you probably use a higher pick and still might miss, or sign somebody expensive. I figure pick up a QB every other year, so the backup has two years to develop - and if it's a miss, you can get somebody the next year and have one year to develop him before the backup gets expensive.
We can dream bro! But this would be ideal....Center. Ryan Jensen.
Top needs IMO.....Vets at these two spots would make transition smoother....draft some late round rooks to look over their shoulders....I'd love it if we could sign a center and an ILB before the draft. Everything else would be added depth, and that could be done after the draft is over.
Shoulda already done thisRams will find a way to re-sign Sullivan if they're smart.
His numbers have really improved at Oklahoma's Pro Day, only two weeks after the combine. Maybe he was sick.
FWIW's I have always felt Loyalty is my greatest strength and weakness as one can be loyal to a fault. As to players, if they can get more money elsewhere, I never hold that against them nor would I hold it against me for changing jobs to make more money, which I have only done a few times, but good for others, who can make as much coin as they can.
Some players like where they are like Robey-Coleman, however, once you're at their level with the ability to move about the country because of large contract, IMO, you can't hold that against any player as we would not hold it against a colleague in the corporate world.
What kind of trade market would AD have? Just curious.
great song by the greatest rock and roll band of all time. .
I agree totally. If anybody is going to be a reserve and be perfect to come back at a time of need its Web. Who would of thought last offseason he'd be fighting for a position to get on the field at nickel? LolI love Web's positivity man. He's one of my favorite twitter follows. Look forward to watching that.
Re: the draft just get difference makers with each pick. That's the key IMO, regardless of position. Each one of those types will set this team further and further apart from the competition. Keep building it.
Tell it to his bank account.Keenum cant even be the main focus in a thread about him. Lol
lol Jermichael Finley, Martellus Bennett, Lance Handbricks, and now Jimmy Graham
