Rams' Aaron Donald is playing into shape and hopes a bigger impact is in cards for Week 2

Safety John Johnson, who intercepted a pass in the end zone, said the Rams’ line can impose “wear and tear over the course of the game” on opponents.

This reminds me... That INT he pulled in was a CB level play. He also got beat by Cook on other plays of course, but there aren't a lot of safeties who could play it the way he did. In fact I have seen plenty of corners who don't know how to look back on the right timing and instead end up going the "arm up/faceguarding" route in that situation. Really excited about JJ.

Re: Donald not being happy... That's why he's great. Better things ahead this year for him, that's for sure. (y)

Yeah, I don't understand. You need two quick scores, you have no timeouts, you throw 2 yard passes which are worse than incompletions. Get creative, throw long to the sideline, run two quarterback sets, whatever. You have nothing to lose.
And those 2 yard passes were not sideline; they were in the middle of the field.

I don't get it. This is the NFL, right? Makes no sense!

Arizona Cards thoughts (saw the full game against Redskins)

Makes sense and although Mike McCoy the Offensive Coordinator has had his struggles of late after being fired as Head Coach of the Chargers and OC for the Broncos, it was not too long ago, he was the hottest OC in the NFL....That offensive line has issues and current OL Coach Ray Brown is a good one so once they are able to draft, it should improve and I do realize the year Johnson had in 21016, but this year, he'll have to get his yards catching the football.

Sorry, besides Gurley the only other running back that scares the dickens out of me is Saints RB Alvin Mentian Kamara, who like Stacy's Mom, he's got it going on.
@ Bold: Was it really because of him or being with the one of the greatest QBs of all time?

Alvin Kamara is awesome, but it is also thanks to a good OL as well. Put him with a inept OC & QB, & he most likely wouldn’t look like the star he is today, hurt like other star RBs that were once in that situation. He’s still one of my favorite players, though.

FUll game vid: 2018 Rams vs Raiders, Week 1---I need it, please

Will you be able to post these for every game? They will not be on this week in my area so I am looking at try to do a stream for the first time or just wait for something like this to watch later.
When I see them posted on reddit I will link them here. It’s just a question of when that guy edits out the junk for this condensed format.

How the Chiefs’ and Rams’ Jet-Sweep Touchdown “Passes” Could Affect Fantasy Football

Draft a QB whose team does the Jet Sweep.

The real story for the Rams is how McVay used multiple players on the Jet Sweep. The Rams got good positive yards on all of them. It also sets up defenses to have to look for it and the offense goes the other way.
It’s funny too because it looked fairly obvious it was coming and still we gained good yardage. You just know that’s going to be a set up play.
